  2. That wouldn't be the craziest thing to happen in this whole ordeal 😂
  3. It would be good to hear something from the other side as I'm struggling to understand why those who have put hundreds of thousands and possibly millions into the club over the years (way beyond what's on the creditors list) are now apparently being difficult and threatening the clubs future. I don't necessarily include Morrison in that but guys like Cameron and Munro. Another thing I don't understand is why Savage chose administration. Despite what the administrator said (and of course he's going to support action that's giving him a healthy pay day) the money Savage is set to lay out in all of this could have paid Morrison off. If others had been willing to write off unsecured debts and we'd sorted the spending then we'd have avoided this whole saga and the 15 point penalty.

  5. Shaky first half but they barely laid a glove on us in the second. Our shooting rate has greatly increased and hopefully the same will come with the conversion rate. Found this table which shows there's definite room for improvement, but if we can keep total shots number high then it should keep us competitive.
  6. I wasn't suggesting anyone on here could or would be pursued for anything.
  7. Not sure suggesting that Savage commit fraud is a wise course of action.
  8. No need to wonder as they credited the podcast as the source.
  9. We're already booked in somewhere else for lunch before the game now and wouldn't like to do to them what others have done to the club by cancelling. Hopefully they fill the spots.
  10. Was going to do hospitality but was too slow and it was sold out pretty quick which is good to see. A D&E coach to take then to their school Christmas party would make a statement 😂
  11. If people want to support some of these local businesses then they can do it directly. Buy gift cards/presents for Christmas type thing. That way you can be sure they get every penny.
  12. It's clear that spending was massively out of control. We knew that but can now see it in black and white. What is also concerning is that we still seem to be losing about £10000 per week even after all the cuts. Savage said he was taking care of local businesses who were due money so wondering if a chunk of the creditor list has already been taken care of?
  13. We had players staying in hotels. One I know of was living in the new AC Marriott the whole time he was here and another was staying in the Kingsmills.
  14. It says that in the report and also that mire could be added. Saw a comment on Facebook from Cafe1 saying they are owed £5000 and it's not on the list.
  15. Doesn't make for hopeful reading.
  16. We've not played a setup that works with/for him so no surprise he's not producing. We also don't have the players to do that so it's a catch 22. It's not so much a question of dropping him but one of who do you replace him with?
  17. I think the setup is hindering Billy more than his advancing years. We've never seen the best of him when deployed as a lone striker. The opposition know he can be dangerous if given space so he tends to be well covered with nobody alongside to draw them away. Unfortunately we don't currently have any obvious option for that (I've not seen enough of Cairns to know if he could) and we also don't have anyone that could be better deployed as a lone striker. I said above that I didn't think Billy was at it on Saturday but he wasn't the only one. It happens and we need to try and avoid knee jerk reactions. As frustrating as it is not having a greater depth of squad in the attacking positions I've seen enough in the last few games to believe we'll still escape the bottom 2 places in the league. There's goals in this squad even if they aren't coming from the striker.
  18. Not a terrible display but thought we were a little slower in pushing forward today. Billy also seemed more reluctant to make runs in behind. Don't think the ref cost us the game, but he was terrible. No complaint about any of our bookings but Arbroath should have had more than the one card. Still trying to work out what he was up to when he stopped the game to run the full length of the pitch to tell the 'injured' Arbroath player to get off the park for treatment and then ran all the way back to just drop the ball in front of their keeper. Arbroath player took forever to get off the park, going down in apparent pain at least once, and then once off the park he got no treatment and jogged straight to the halfway line and was shouting to be allowed on again. We're not going to win every week and I don't think it was lack of effort. Put it down to an off day and we go again next week.
  19. The advert says it includes main stand seating so I'd assumed that as I already have my season ticket there would be a reduction. I have nothing against giving 'free' match tickets as part of hospitality to encourage people along. Especially under the current circumstances.
  20. What's the season ticket holder price?
  21. A lesson in rewriting history that even Charles Bannerman could not surpass. For me Terry Butcher is the absolute standout because he moved the club forward in so many areas both on and off the park and did so without need to be bumping his gums to the press to make it happen. He walked a solid road in terms of sticking it to bigger teams and the games administration without crying victim every other week. He was respected and gave respect where it was due. He took his football seriously but everyone seemed to have fun at the same time. The only negative was his departure. As for Kellacher. He's played his part in the successes of many of those being touted as 'our best' manager. Glad to see him step up and prove why that's been the case and making a name for himself.
  22. Here's the thing. Without administration and the removal of Ferguson we may have been no further up the table than we are now and still facing games with fear instead of hope. In a weird twisted way administration may end up saving our league status. Hopefully things are going as well with saving the club off the park 🤞
  23. I was a little more concerned when they went down to ten men as teams who are leading will tend to stick everyone behind the ball to defend the lead and make it tougher to break them down.
  24. There are going to be bumps along the way but how we bounce back is important both during games and from game to game. To get a win after last week was great and to do it by coming back from two down will help build squad confidence. Onwards and upwards. Also that goal to win it was something really special.
  25. If Kellagher doesn't have us top by Christmas it's time for him to go.
