  1. How would he know? He literally disappeared during the summer.
  2. Near the end. Anything is better than Inverness. What a ***.
  3. Musa must have hands like shovels going by the one handed catch he managed at full stretch today.
  4. Great to get the home win after our winter tour of Scotland. One of the best worked goals we've scored this season in what wasn't a very tidy game for either aide. Thought we were worthy of the 3 points all the same. I think we missed Mckay's link up play but it was reassuring to see that the team can play without him. Our ability to dig in and get a result even when in a scruffy battle is pleasing. We are now closer in points to the top of the table than the bottom and within a win of the two teams above us. All things considered that's pretty incredible given where we were just over 3 months ago.
  5. I hear what you're saying and every extra penny is important but we need more than a modest increase in income to have a financially viable club. At best there's a small handful of clubs in Scotland who survive without external income and Snorbens is right about the need to develop the stadium location. For that to happen then you need someone willing and able to invest many millions and then be happy for the club to be a benefactor. Ross Morrison seemed to want to do that but his pockets weren't deep enough and his (or his sidekicks) ideas were way too speculative and poorly executed.
  6. I don't really see that our performance on the pitch will have much baring on our administration situation. Prize money between the leagues below the SPL isn't that great and there's not game changing money between each of them. Trying not to get worried about it and just enjoy the football but the longer it drags on the less easy I feel.

Another great result as we close in on Annan. Priority and focus has to remain on getting away from the bottom of the table and we can't afford to get carried away with looking too far up. An Annan draw with Montrose helps keep both within touching distance so if one or other goes on a wee run then hopefully we catch the other. Looking forward to a home game next weekend and welcoming the team back after a tough run of away matches.
  9. Another good honest reaction giving praise where it's due whilst recognising the things that need to be worked on. Looking at the last 5 games we've won 3 and lost 2 giving us 9 points. Under Ferguson we'd have been looking for 5 draws at best giving us 5 points. For that reason the losses are less impactful and the team playing all out for the win is delivering much better entertainment. I'd be happy with the same points haul from the next 5 games.
  10. I wonder if those who've just purchased Dunfermline were one of the interested parties here? Dunfermline with ambitions to be Scotland's version of Moneyball it would seem.
  11. Hard not to get a little carried away seeing us closing the gap on those above us. It's possible we could have inched ahead of Annan and be in sight of Montrose going into the next home game.
  12. It seems certain that much of what he loaned would have come before the security was put in place. He'd still have a claim it just means he wouldn't get paid ahead of other creditors. Whilst good for other creditors I'm not seeing that it does anything to improve the clubs financial position or prospects of sale/investment.
  13. Sorry!
  14. That would have been a fluff(er) piece.
  15. A good old fashioned puff piece.
  16. All of that is why I think it would be useful for fans to hear the position of Cameron and Morrison from them.
  17. The only player I could see anyone coming in for is Dibaga. Don't see others being able to make a step up and every other team at this level is as near to broke as we are (Cove and Kelty rumoured to be near admin state) so won't be spending on transfers. Not sure financial fairplay rules allow for creative employment/payment of players and the last time Savage allegedly covered the cost of a player's wages it transpired not to be so clear cut, he walked away leaving us with the liability and we landed in court. Regardless the players are here now and early signs are good in terms of them contributing to the mission. Long may that continue.
  18. And we're still using the same camera for our highlights today.
  19. Courier headline incoming... "ICTFC Face Bleak Future as Bin Collection Consistency Declines"
  20. They're notorious for inaccurate and misleading headlines. Wannabe tabloid these days.
  21. So long as rent is being paid and there is no breach on the lease agreement then I don't see why Highland Council would look to get involved.
  22. That will be creditors agreeing with what's in the proposal document as opposed to any agreement on a settlement I would think.
  23. It seems some people have forgotten that we're a league one team and are still expecting premier league performances. I was delighted with the football and effort that was served up yesterday. The new lads fitted in well and you wouldn't think this was their first match for us. Hoping Longstaff is ok as he's been really important to our game recently.
  24. Not sure I like this and it feels like it makes a mockery of the situation. Players were let go as we couldn't afford them and some staff had hours cut and/or are doing multiple jobs. There are creditors who are due payments. We're managing to fulfil fixtures and have mostly been filling the bench so I don't see a player welfare issue. The only reason we need to add players is in an attempt to improve competitiveness. While we all want the team to be more competitive this just feels wrong.
  25. Regardless of views on ability of players coaches and management we are where we are and don't have the means or resources to change it. People are entitled to express their displeasure at poor performances but they need to check their expectations and appreciate that negativity may not help. As a side note I didn't hear anything which I would have said was abusive. I also didn't see any players not trying but a few did seem to go into their shells a bit. Not saying we should be heaping false praise on them but perhaps a positive and understanding crowd would be more encouraging to get them out of it again.
