  1. Courier headline incoming... "ICTFC Face Bleak Future as Bin Collection Consistency Declines"
  2. They're notorious for inaccurate and misleading headlines. Wannabe tabloid these days.
  3. So long as rent is being paid and there is no breach on the lease agreement then I don't see why Highland Council would look to get involved.
  4. That will be creditors agreeing with what's in the proposal document as opposed to any agreement on a settlement I would think.
  5. It seems some people have forgotten that we're a league one team and are still expecting premier league performances. I was delighted with the football and effort that was served up yesterday. The new lads fitted in well and you wouldn't think this was their first match for us. Hoping Longstaff is ok as he's been really important to our game recently.
  6. Not sure I like this and it feels like it makes a mockery of the situation. Players were let go as we couldn't afford them and some staff had hours cut and/or are doing multiple jobs. There are creditors who are due payments. We're managing to fulfil fixtures and have mostly been filling the bench so I don't see a player welfare issue. The only reason we need to add players is in an attempt to improve competitiveness. While we all want the team to be more competitive this just feels wrong.
  7. Regardless of views on ability of players coaches and management we are where we are and don't have the means or resources to change it. People are entitled to express their displeasure at poor performances but they need to check their expectations and appreciate that negativity may not help. As a side note I didn't hear anything which I would have said was abusive. I also didn't see any players not trying but a few did seem to go into their shells a bit. Not saying we should be heaping false praise on them but perhaps a positive and understanding crowd would be more encouraging to get them out of it again.

  9. That wouldn't be the craziest thing to happen in this whole ordeal
  10. It would be good to hear something from the other side as I'm struggling to understand why those who have put hundreds of thousands and possibly millions into the club over the years (way beyond what's on the creditors list) are now apparently being difficult and threatening the clubs future. I don't necessarily include Morrison in that but guys like Cameron and Munro. Another thing I don't understand is why Savage chose administration. Despite what the administrator said (and of course he's going to support action that's giving him a healthy pay day) the money Savage is set to lay out in all of this could have paid Morrison off. If others had been willing to write off unsecured debts and we'd sorted the spending then we'd have avoided this whole saga and the 15 point penalty.

  12. Shaky first half but they barely laid a glove on us in the second. Our shooting rate has greatly increased and hopefully the same will come with the conversion rate. Found this table which shows there's definite room for improvement, but if we can keep total shots number high then it should keep us competitive.
  13. I wasn't suggesting anyone on here could or would be pursued for anything.
  14. Not sure suggesting that Savage commit fraud is a wise course of action.
  15. No need to wonder as they credited the podcast as the source.
  16. We're already booked in somewhere else for lunch before the game now and wouldn't like to do to them what others have done to the club by cancelling. Hopefully they fill the spots.
  17. Was going to do hospitality but was too slow and it was sold out pretty quick which is good to see. A D&E coach to take then to their school Christmas party would make a statement
  18. If people want to support some of these local businesses then they can do it directly. Buy gift cards/presents for Christmas type thing. That way you can be sure they get every penny.
  19. It's clear that spending was massively out of control. We knew that but can now see it in black and white. What is also concerning is that we still seem to be losing about £10000 per week even after all the cuts. Savage said he was taking care of local businesses who were due money so wondering if a chunk of the creditor list has already been taken care of?
  20. We had players staying in hotels. One I know of was living in the new AC Marriott the whole time he was here and another was staying in the Kingsmills.
  21. It says that in the report and also that mire could be added. Saw a comment on Facebook from Cafe1 saying they are owed £5000 and it's not on the list.
  22. Doesn't make for hopeful reading.
  23. We've not played a setup that works with/for him so no surprise he's not producing. We also don't have the players to do that so it's a catch 22. It's not so much a question of dropping him but one of who do you replace him with?
  24. I think the setup is hindering Billy more than his advancing years. We've never seen the best of him when deployed as a lone striker. The opposition know he can be dangerous if given space so he tends to be well covered with nobody alongside to draw them away. Unfortunately we don't currently have any obvious option for that (I've not seen enough of Cairns to know if he could) and we also don't have anyone that could be better deployed as a lone striker. I said above that I didn't think Billy was at it on Saturday but he wasn't the only one. It happens and we need to try and avoid knee jerk reactions. As frustrating as it is not having a greater depth of squad in the attacking positions I've seen enough in the last few games to believe we'll still escape the bottom 2 places in the league. There's goals in this squad even if they aren't coming from the striker.
  25. Not a terrible display but thought we were a little slower in pushing forward today. Billy also seemed more reluctant to make runs in behind. Don't think the ref cost us the game, but he was terrible. No complaint about any of our bookings but Arbroath should have had more than the one card. Still trying to work out what he was up to when he stopped the game to run the full length of the pitch to tell the 'injured' Arbroath player to get off the park for treatment and then ran all the way back to just drop the ball in front of their keeper. Arbroath player took forever to get off the park, going down in apparent pain at least once, and then once off the park he got no treatment and jogged straight to the halfway line and was shouting to be allowed on again. We're not going to win every week and I don't think it was lack of effort. Put it down to an off day and we go again next week.
