    Team For Hibs

As Hibs are so attacking wouldn't surprise me to see 4-5-1 again and try and hit them on the break, although I would much prefer 4-4-2 CB was not too keen to change his winning team very much, which is understandable, but will he change the loosing one? Whatever the team it is vital that we turn our truly shocking home form and perfomances around and give us all something to shout about.
  8. Yes RIG good point!
  9. Suggestion
  10. Duff to remain for sure, as others have said will affect his confidence next time he plays if not. And he had a decent game otherwise, he's entilted to keep his place if Granty does not return. Lets go 4-3-3 against hibs, they'll be to busy keeping the ball out of their own box, not itme to get it into ours!
  11. In reply to Mr Bronson's post (and what Scotty added too) I agree with you entirley and long overdue that we practice corners and free kicks and keep the ball on the grass. Our dead ball stuff in threatening positions is woeful. As we are a team who, generally does not score lots of goals, we absolutely must do something different or planned from the training ground when we have a corner, or a free kick near the opposition goal. If we had a reharsed move and won 1-0 it would have been worth all the practice and preparation and three very valuable points. Lets look at the positive things we should be doing rather than just criticise, often unconstructively.
  12. I thought the team looked uninspired today, but hopefully it was a one off. I must defend old Rossco though, he had pass marks in the game I watched. I would have liked to see 4-4-2 as well, especially at home. My biggest angst today, however, was the lumping of the footie up the pitch on to Accies defenders heads and the worst culprite was our goalie! I thought they looked very average (doesn't say much for us) A winger may have helped our cause and created one chance at least. And to not test their goalie in 90mins was nothing less than a crime. Finally, Mark Corcoran was my MOM by a country mile.
  13. Hear hear! Like many others I have a good feeling about this young chap and the thrree year deal is very interesting.
  14. I'll settle for 4-3 to us then
  15. hard
  16. Lets hope so. As you say Mr. 100 quite staggering that we haven't signed a defender yet, but here's hoping we do. Otherwise it's hats off to CB for effort this summer as far as I'm concerned. Here's a man who seriously wants to keep his job.
  17. A handful indeed, they look very comfortable and mobile. But nothing we can't deal with and give a warm highland welcome to.
  18. You can never blame any player, generally, for wishing to further their career and no good club should ever stand in anyone's way. We have never been an exception to that rule, in my opinion. Don Cowie, as Rig has correctly stated will be as committed to the cause as much as anyone. Football is such an oddball emotive "business" to be in, fans can be unfairly sensitive or critical towards players who manage, for whatever reason, to end up in the press for transfer/ contract talk. Keep up the good work Don!
  19. Yep and Little Feat were brilliant. Now lets just sign a centre half and we'll all be happy!
  20. Little Feat are playing the ironworks tonight this is the real story in town!
  21. Correct the SPL are to blame for everything, hasn't taken you long in the SPL to work that out either, good stuff! (If my sources are correct, I think they are responsible for high petrol prices and the reason we are still in Afghanistan too)
  22. I think Marius has all the qualities required to become a football agent.....
  23. And a keen cricketer too
  24. Lets just score more goals than we concede and we'll be just fine I'd settle for a 4-3 every home game, or even 7-6 (to us that is!)
  25. Phew!
