Caff - "Not up to it"
I have always been of the opion the Caff is an extremley competent defender who reads the game very well and if not for a poor ref would never have lost his place in the team. I am no doubt, however, that he may need a few games back in the first team to be "up to speed"

Sneck Courier Today
I want to agree word for word with what caleyd says at the top of the page. When I read the article if I was CC I would have asked the Chairman what plans he has to deal with this situation about crowds!! I'ts about time they did something comericially imaginative, I am always trying to encourage others to come to the football but I see no evidence whatsoever of the club doing this......

The best strike pairing
At home we should play all three up front and go to three at the back. If we'd taken on Dargo the other day when we went 2-0 up and gone to three at the back, the crowd (home) would have loved it and gone mental We probably have gone on to win 4-3, my kind of game!

The Most Important Game In Three Years
Your next game is always your most important. And I have complete faith in the team and confident we'll be mid table in no time at all.

That's Better!!
Unfortunaltely we do need the points but I'd rather that than a nil nil with no points (sort of!) If we continue to play like that we'll have no problems and if we played like that every week we would win more matches than we's lose for sure. I think Charlie and Donald need large pats on the back for that performance

The Pitch
Could be ideal conditions for a little winger with a ball stuck to his toe and defenders sliding about in the mud trying to catch him!
-
The Pitch
With all this rain and the forecast of more I would imagine the pitch is quite damp, has anyone been down for a swim?

Dargo Airs his Views
Good point HC Although I was dissapointed with how Dargo obviously feels and I don't think the majority of fans would blame him for our present predicament, not too clever.........

Dargo Airs his Views
Oh dear, better leave a message for him at the ground that we all love him dearly in case he thinks otherwise. He should look at the website!

Striker in January?
Yes indeed, at last we're getting somewhere! Simply need to get rid of the sideways and backwards brigade in the mid - field, who are becoming a bad influence on Mr Black I hasten to add. I feel sorry for poor Mr Dargo.

The bottom line
Sandy mate you're needing a hand here!!! I agree generally with what you say and think the important thing is that the club needs to progress and to do this we need to get rid of all the deadwood in the midfield. Strangely enough having watched the game on Sat I am optimistic now about the future because I think this game will create a turning point as a few home truths will hopefully have been spotted by Management and coaching staff. Onwards and upwards coming soon at a ground near you!

A HOME ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
When it comes to the crunch, I'm sure most of us would be happy being "less entertained" playing in the SPL than in a lower division having fun. I'm getting used to the tension, it's fun sometimes as the rewards are greater. And it's much harder on the players we should think of them sometimes. Personally I thought the Hearts game was quite engaging and if we could have found the luck in the opposition box that we get in our ownn we would have scored too! By the law of averages we will all be entertained fully on Sat, I predict 5-0 nil not 6!!

3-4-3 at home
:clapping04: I'd definately keep a back 4 but I think Rankin needs to be given more of a license to get forward or even have Wyness sitting behind 2 strikers with a holding midfielder. I agree completely with what you say here HC, too much sideways football from Rankin and I would love to see Denzil on the pitch somwehere (but not in goals) along with two strikers.

Ground Crew
Worse than that, you get to play for the first team, kick off 3.00pm!

I am on this "list" already, need I and others in the same position do anything?

ICT on STV last night
Well the game I saw on Sat, after 75 mins I'd lost the will to live. Thankfully though, a good ol' defender sent me home with a smile!
-
Mikes lack of professionalism.
I agree with all of the above 100% and here's another one:- I have been tempted for ages to go and paint the "yellow" ICT car park gates which are unsightly and for £20 or so they could be nice red and blue stripes. It's like your business sign on your door hanging off!
-
Mikes lack of professionalism.
The sad thing is he was probably more "entertaining" than the first half's football and he reminded me of the voice you hear in a garden centre offering reduced price fruit trees. I think someone, somewhere, lost a game of cards on Friday night.......

Tactics For Dunfermline
Agree with you there, i reckon the following formation for Dunfermline could work: Brown Rossco Dods Munro Hastings Duncan Wilson Hart Rankin Bayne Dargo but think charlie will opt for a 4-4-2 with black making way for hart. I would love to see one less defender at home but tinkering with the strong point of the team is a bad idea, here's another, stick Wyness in a five man midfield and leave Dargo by himself up front, that'll get him match fit in no time!
-
ICT V FALKIRK 19-09-06
We'll stuff Dunfermiline with lots of style and goals don't worry! I couldn't make the game last night I had a snooker match to play which was most exicting and I won 2-1 in the final minute, pity my team couldn't have done the same....You were all at the wrong venue last night guys!

Another Missed Oppurtunity
I agree, I am sure the club could easliy consider children getting in free if accompanied by an adult? It would be nice to see double the crowd, even if only half had paid...
-
Alarm Bells Yes Or No?
I think we can safely say that investing in a right and left winger is a good idea then! Before the start of the season, in my opinion, I thought we needed a winger and another goal scorer. And as soon as we get our first three points we'll be fine.

car park madness
Cheers Scotty - great advice. :driving01: Fer fecks sake never drive to a game...just feckin drink. - Also great advice IHE. We took a taxi down to the stadium yesterday, but just decided to walk back up the town and enjoy the banter. The craic was good and we had a couple of beers in Rileys before catching a bus home. I really enjoyed my day yesterday (and I suppose the result helped) sorry folks got disturbed at work whilst trying to post there I took the car yesterday and it was almost dark by the time I got home. I am seriously considering taking my son to games on our tandem bike and you can put beer in the panniers......... Deleted duplicate post for you LG

Tic Tacs
Absolutley, I think I'll get on the blower tonight to my old mate Ashley Cole and tell him to forget Chelsea and have a year in the Highlands with a decent team. We could give him a caravan at Nairn for the season as his accommodation.
