  1. looks like the current situation at the club IS affecting all fans, as yet another good-humour-intended thread becomes sabotaged (spelling) by some, all because of CB at the helm at ICT. anyway, I'll try again to keep this thread good-humour-indended..... with another chant... :thumb04: if you go to ICT today you're sure of a big surprise if you go to ICT today you'll never believe your eyes for brewster know his tactics all blow, and fans and players show they want him to go as we're all here to see another guuuuuuubing.
  2. or maybe something festive...? it's the season for a sacking ta-la-la-la-laaa-la-la-la-la Brewsters tactics are a lacking ta-la-la-la-laaa-la-la-la-la shall we sack him, shall we sack him ta-la-laaa ta-la-laaa la-la-la craigy brewster G T F ta-la-la-la-laaa-la-la-la-la we wish brew a merry christmas we wish brew a merry chrsitmas we wish brew a merry christmas and a P45 we all want someone better we all want someone better we all want someone better to keep us alive He wont go until he gets one He wont go until he gets one He wont go until he gets one, his P45 hang on - they're not positve are they...? Oh well, festive et etc
  3. how about these chants for saturday then... Say we're not, second bottom say we're not second bottom Say we're not, second bottom say we're not second bottom... we're tenth in the league and you're no you're no you're no we're tenth in the league and you're no... We'll be climbing we'll be climbing we'll be climbing up the league when you hear the scores from the others around us we'll be climbing up the league
  4. don't say that yngwie - there'll be Brewster for Scotland threads next. :thumb04:
  5. I am maybe getting a feeling that you're on the wind-up HC? After all, you prob rate Rory judging by your avatar? (bit of banta there) I still see no comments from the Pro-brewster camp to convince me he should still be in charge come christmas and ultimately, the january transfer window.
  6. we jumped up a place in the league last night as Killie beat Well 2-0... ITS A MIRACLE
  7. and he wont until he starts taking the blame himself rather than palm it off to his players.
  8. my answer, simply put - performances and results... isn't that what any manager is supposed to provide?
  9. Was Munro not made captain by CC before CB arrived? I suppose that question doesnt really matter when you consider CB has had chance to change this since taking over, and has failed to do to if it is indeed a captaincy issue - therefore again, the buck stops at CB
  10. My thoughts: Brewster is the manager and the buck must suely fall at his feet. He doesnt know his strongest side and will never do unless he allows a decent run in the team for people like Duff, Barrowman, rooney and Wood. He should know where players are strongest and utilise this information in a productive manner. Rather than try them in new positions during match day, this should be done in pre-season and friendly ties, or even in reserves and training. If he is good enough, he should know it by seeing results and good performances on a consistant level - likewise if he isnt up to scatch he should have the dignity to walk away knowing he gave his best, which so far is not good enough. The Board should look at the performances, the results, the gate reciepts and decide what possitive action to take. They should listen to the fans who ultimately generate the revenue at the stadium and use their business knowledge to know when their 'company' is starting to deteriorate and fall by the wayside. They need to acknowledge when things go wrong, just as they praise when things go right. The players need to take stock of their own abilties and work hard to wear the club badge. if they feel they are out of position, needing a spark from a player on the sidelines or know best how to get the best out of others, they should either voice their opinions openly or hope that the other 10 players around them are telepatic. If they disagree with a managerial tactic/substitution/formation then they should be constructive of any critisism instead of sitting in silence. The fans need to get behind the team to boost player moral, yet they must also voice opinions, good or bad, to the club in order for a posiive outcome to become possible. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion yet these will not be voiced unless they do so themselves. It is also important to remember we are all in love with the same club and have it's best interests at heart. Our club is only a teenager who plays with the adults of the SPL, yet with the right guidence and constuctive critisism, this teenager may well be heading for a PHD in European qualification before it turns 20. This of course will not happen if we sit and do nothing!!!
  11. we all know we have only won once all season at home and 4 times in 2008, but can someone please post the stats from when brewster took charge for his second spell up until present day... is he statistically our worst ever manager? (or is that a silly question)
  12. Excellent post Scotty Add my name to the list of sent e-mails.
  13. Speaking football (as you do) with my good friend Colin, I was gutted to hear his 'inside info' on our great winger Don Cowie. He was speaking to someone at work I believe, who is good family friends with Chippers crew, most of whom live in Aberdeen. Now, we've all heard that Aberdeen, Hibs, Leeds and Rangers may be targeting our man, but the dons would be his prefered destination should a suitable offer be laid on the table. With his wife just giving birth too and the location of their family, I sincerely hope this remains a rumour, although the more I think about what Colin said, the more I see this happening - especially in the current climate.
  14. Well if robbos up for it I will also take part DONE DEAL!!! lol (we'll dicuss more over a beverage thats long in the waiting) Robbo - We all share the same passions for ICT, but what makes you tic when it comes to Inverness and ICT. Clearly you were a legend at the likes of Hearts and Livingston, and were you not a hibs fan too? Why Inverness CT?
  15. first celebrity I thought I was invited to take part although you may have had the first celeb invite, you're yet to take part (theres always HM7 - LoL) firstly - My status as 'Gringo' is now official - robbo says so. hehe Secondly, any part of the highland march is fine robbo. plenty of training days planned for the new year leading up to event, so you're welcome to join us for those too. Experiances and info at highlandmarch.co.uk
  16. Hi Robbo - great to have you on the boards. This, to me anyway, feels like a breath of fresh air in terms of communication towards the fans, possibly exceeding peoples efforts to re-instate Boardroom Banta. so - Thank you. Whilst I have the opertunity, myself and Yompa (aka Interthenet) will be looking for new recruits for the 7th annual Highland March come the end of the season. How do you fancy becoming the first celebrity to take on the challenge? You were after all at the end of season party before we set off on the very first Highland March (you gave your jacket to TheFly for his trips from London), so it only seems fitting to have you on board in future... Or, of course, you could always take on an even bigger challenge and join Beatonio, Lady Madonna et al on next years Tartan March from Oslo to Hampden. LoL. Once again, welcome to the boards and thanks.
  17. Me, myself and I have seen barry assist with training sessions when I've been up at the crack of dawn playing football with a friend of mine. The work he puts into it is superb and the players listen to his every word. I've heard him encourage every single player to give 100% in training, and he takes this attitude onto the field of play also. Even when the boys look completely shattered, he encourages them even more and you literally see them respond. Then CB and MT come back from setting the usual sessions and take over. I have no doubt that CB has added a few years to barry's playing career due to the emphesis he has on fitness - but this I am sorry to say seems to be the only thing (outside playing) that CB is good at. Rarely have i seen much change in any training session. It seems to be the same schedule each day. A few laps, a few dribbling skills, a couple keepie uppies and then a stretch or two. I cant say I have ever seen him put into practice any sort of tactical ideas such as defend/attack a set piece. The keepers do their own 'keeper practice' away from the others and then get put into a 15 minute 5-a-side, which to me looks like more of a mess around than actual tactical practice. Granted I have not been down to see them train or even play footie myself in recent months due to work, so please forgive me if this has changed at all (which I doubt). What I am trying to say is barry encourages the lads, has respect, gets 100% out of those around him whilst giving 100% back. CB seems more interested in making players last 90 mins rather than get the best out the team tactically.
  18. Ha Ha Ha... not too sure it was the bog, but I do remember chatting away to Barry and Pele at the bar, and although pele originally said no to a trail when i asked him straight out, barry said 'he may be a bit on the chubby side, but give the lad a chance' (or words to that effect) - Low and behold, pele told me to bring my boots up when on holiday that year and I believe Gringo_Snr has the camcorder footage of a blinding goal i scored past Jim Calder after a lay off from CC... Gringo but alas no contract but the great memory of been set up by one legend while slotting it past another legend Pele and Shearer didnt go to see me play... I belive pele had to attend to some serious family business whilst shearer stayed and did 'paperwork'. CC took the session but was focused more on the first team then my trial (which is fair enough)... I distictly remember Davide Xausa playing the ball square to me whislt shouting 'go on rob, be the hero'. I slotted neatly under calder. I obviously returned the favour later on but he blazed over. I also got thrown to the ground by rosscoe that day too - I slide takled, he regained posetion, and as i went to challenge again he floored me. lol - had a brilliant day though (the memories are flooding back)

    IF ?

Faiir play to Fanoffooty... creating a positive thread and trying to be upbeat. I never want to see us loose, and only hope the boys do get the three points. Not so sure that climbing from 9th to 8th can be considered a significant jump up the table though... lol
  20. Ha Ha Ha... not too sure it was the bog, but I do remember chatting away to Barry and Pele at the bar, and although pele originally said no to a trail when i asked him straight out, barry said 'he may be a bit on the chubby side, but give the lad a chance' (or words to that effect) - Low and behold, pele told me to bring my boots up when on holiday that year and I believe Gringo_Snr has the camcorder footage of a blinding goal i scored past Jim Calder after a lay off from CC...
  21. Forgive me if I am wrong, but did brewster not say in a newspaper article that 'HE' came to the decision to release barry wilson? surely if the board had involvement, he would have said 'WE'. And to elaberate on his capabilities (or lack there of) as manager, he continues to say he wants to see if our younger players can become the next BW, rather than search out a suitable replacement BEFORE his release... THE BUCK MUST FALL AT BREWSTERS FEET. Even if the board wanted the likes of wyness, rankin etc out, Brew, As our manager, should have stood his ground and made an extremely decent attempt to keep them.
  22. Disagree with barry being unfit for the spl - he can contibute to any game whenever given the opertunity, although he may not be a 90 minute player any more. As someone has said previosuly - barry brings respect, heart and experiance to the dressing room, and that can be an absolute godsend when bringing youth into the first team set-up.
  23. ....but you plut the players on the park mr brewster, so can YOU not see the error of YOUR ways? GET IT SORTED, OR G T F
  24. The question is, are people happy to part with 20 quid to watch brew make a mess of tactics once more, or use that 20 quid to get bladdered in the nearest bar whilst watching soccer saturday?
