  1. Past hour
  2. Macintyre & Zimba have already been announced as departed. Hopefully we can hold onto Alonge. Still up in the air with the 2 Alfie’s - they both have a permanent offer on the table from Caley , they both have an extension with Aberdeen also tabled. I’d imagine both players have other offers as well.
  3. Today
  4. The players still missing from last year in order of my preference Macintyre Bavidge Alonge Zimba I am assuming we have already lost Stewart.😭
  5. Am I the only one thinking that the visual of the USA supporters in the stadium at their game looks like a "Where's Wally" puzzle !
  6. Yesterday
  7. Yes I seen that by 15 minutes flying tomorrow now. It will be costing him a fortune! You can see why so many cut their losses and didn't go.
  8. Reporting Scotland said he’d missed his connection in Dublin.
  9. He put some effort in to righting an administrative c**k up. What Scotty said in this thread appears quite widespread: Scottish fans having issues because they did not have a Police Letter from England or Wales. Hopefully Kenny’s efforts will have helped other fans in the same position.
  10. That’s most of the best defence in League 1 secured for next season: Munro, Macleod, Devine and Savage. It’s a step up in standard for them but Devine and Savage have been there, done that before. A very positive development.
  11. That looks better, a team and two subs Paul Allan Ben Corner Daniel Devine Shae Keogh Luis Longstaff Adam Mackinnon Calum MacLeod Ross Munro Logan Ross Remi Savage Graeme Shinnie Liam Sole Sam Thompson
  12. Indeed it is
  13. You're asking the wrong person...😊
  14. Well C100, you’re asking the wrong person, this should be put directly at the custodians in charge and responsible for managing the affairs of the club. To me that is the owner, the CEO, the board and the security manager. If you take in any of my earlier posts you will have noticed my thoughts on getting those responsible for match safety and control. For what it is worth here my main views. # Deduct points - as it’s the only way to get complacent, lazy and negligent attitudes changed. # Install cameras at all entrances to assist with identifying profiles, clothing and physical features of all entering fans. # Have match crowd control risk assessment undertaken and recorded for all matches with a police representative identifying the risks and preventative measures required. Include a Supporter Trust member (not on the board). # Provide proper levels of match stewarding (not the minimum cost package). # Have a police attendant as part of high profile (risk) matches to assist the club security manager. # Advise the security manager to take a concealed phone to record all match control meetings, where in the event he is told to ignore any concerns he may raise, he can provide evidence in the event any incident results in any corporate or individual legal action. Any use? bc
  15. Kenny is finally on his way.
  16. That’s great news 😄

  18. Well Cherly, I'd agree that the fines are paltry especially in Celtics case where the fine is about 2 days pay for one of their top players. However you've not given us any clues as to how you would sort the issue? It's not my field but trying to rectify the problem will not be easy. Firstly identifying culprits as we see these days is nigh on impossible unless they are physically caught! A fence all the way round the pitch is unreasonable and very costly! extra stewarding is expensive and fans will get past most of the corpulent stewards i've seen here. So what do we do? Is there a way of getting to the lads with letters handed to them with maybe the players asking them to avoid pitch invasion? I really don't know! Over to you!
  19. I think the SPFL have run away from their responsibilities again here. The disciplinary punishment handed down to the offending clubs is paltry and simply puts this problem into a cupboard under the stair (put it out of sight so to speak), until it happens again at any of the top two divisions in our country. It is all so predictable with clubs pleading “you’ll ruin and hurt us (and YOU) if you fine or deduct us points!”. And the SPFL not wanting to ‘rock the boat’ by addressing the problem and hoping the Police or Scottish Government don’t force their hand. The punishment imposed on Celtic is bordering on the ridiculous. It presents no deterrent in my mind to the mindless thugs that enjoy courtship by these major clubs (Celtic here). Ie they want their money, noise and fear factor and tacitly accept the risk they will invade the pitch now and again. Fingers crossed no one gets harmed or maimed. In my club’s case ICTFC, they have been allowed to get off with next to no consequential penalty impact or imposition whatsoever. - I’m not celebrating this as unlike what was said by Scott Young after our Ned’s pitch invasion that ‘lessons to be learned’, thats precisely what we failed to do from the relegation match against the Accies in 2024! I expect our CEO and board to smile (“we got away with that Hey”) and just carry on regardless! In my book is ‘No pain - no gain’. I will continue to argue the case that until our club show clear steps of acting more professionally both on and off the park we will be unable to progress as a serious football operation. bc
  20. Seems really daft to be honest, especially as he seems to have higher security screening than most folk in place and was already in the USA on the same ESTA a few months ago. Reading between the lines, and from one comment he made in the last few days seems to be a bit of a glitch where some people have been caught out because the system flagged they didn't have the (English) ACPO check even if they did have the Police Scotland version. I did see his video earlier where he was on the wrong train platform and blamed Grassa Hoping he does saunter up to the desk in the embassy and jupe the queue like Matt Lucas, preferably wearing his kilt so he can go straight to Gatwick when it gets approved. Sending good vibes his way.
  21. Last week
  22. As someone born and raised in Southampton...my time to shine!
  23. Can't really complain - except when you look at how lightly Celtic have been punished. Their suspended closure in relation to the Hearts game is for just 1,000 seats rather than half a stand. Half of our North Stand is more than 1,000 seats. OK, we don't fill the North Stand, but who's to say it might not be a lot fuller in 2 years time. Celtic have been fined a token £7,500. In terms of a proportion of their annual turnover it is significantly less than our fine. Celtic's "punishment" for a combination of a pitch incursion and the illegal use of pyrotechnics at Motherwell is just £2,500 plus a tiny reduction in ticket allocation for one game. Celtic have form. It is time they were punished in a way that would make the club think seriously about dealing with their moronic supporters.
  24. Yes it’s pretty light, especially closing half the North Stand 😂
  25. He posted a live update this afternoon and he’s an appointment at the US Embassy at 0730 tomorrow and his Police Certificate is clean, so fingers crossed for him. He’s been supported by Jamie Stone who got Douglas Alexander to meet the US Ambassador on behalf of all the fans who have been caught up in it. And other than being mainly County fans, the Torridon guys are good guys as is their music.

  27. With training almost certainly starting next week - the first pre-season friendly is just 16 days away - we can but hope tomorrow is when we find out about our squad. Failing that, someone has to follow the convoy out of the Stadium on Monday and then hide behind a tree and report their findings here.
  28. What a heel! 👞. Meant the ‘soul’ or heart of the game 😁
  29. It's not looking good for him! Scotland fan missing World Cup opener says Trump should 'return the hospitality'
