After the negativity shown by Moomkin, Mr.Bannerman, TM4TJ, Mantis, et'al regarding the Scottish National Team on another thread I thought I'd start a wee thread where anyone who fancies being a bit more positive can post.

I propose anyone who fancies it can post a positive aspect relating to our boys.

I'll start the ball rolling:

1. Craig Gordon.  Since the retiral of Leighton and Goram we have struggled to find a proper long term option for between the sticks.  I think that in Gordon Scotland have a great keeper who will over the next few years prove himself to be one of the very best in Europe.

Next.....

It's good to beat a team like the Faroes comfortably but Georgia also beat them 6-0 and got roundly pumped at home by France.

I'm not going to get carried away until I see how we get on against Romanov's allstars but we having forwards that can score goals....in a Scotland shirt... surely not :016:

Terrific performance tonight...... Pity that booking Kenny Miller picked up against the Faroes is going to come back & haunt him, thanks to his booking tonight...... He'll now be suspended for the game against France..... Blo0dy daft to get booked when your team's 4 goals up.......

thats the most positive post on this thread so far! 

Agree he should have been more careful against Faroes but last nights booking was just an absolute farce and showed that referee's across europe are all the same.

Anyway, six points and eight goals from two games. Bring on the French :005:

Just got back from Lithuania this morning. It's been an absolutely fantastic week and so has the football for once.

We are by no means the finished article but are definately improving, and if we keep it tight against France we could sneak a result, then who knows what will happen in the Ukraine!

well i for one think we have turned the corner we are on the up again played as a team against france
