After a quick call to my old man, I now know it was Black Park....name was changed some time in the 60's.

Think your correct Caley D. I remember the locals calling it Black Park when I kicked about that area.

It used to have the cattle mart as part of the site and was where the cattle show was held before moving to Heathfield park.
