How much would it cost to buy 3000 shares?

If sold at the actual price of ?1 per share, it should be ?3000 but because ICT shares are not traded publicly it all depends on the perceived value ........ looks like there are about a dozen folk on the shareholder list with 3000 shares.

I have already got 100 shares, do I want to make it 3100? No thanks.

As I understand it, you also need the companies permission to transfer/sell them so any transaction could easily be blocked. This effectively gives them first refusal on buying back shares and stopping them getting in to the hands of people they may not want to have them. Which if you follow the logical train of thought means that the Board can prevent a hostile takeover.

Might be better to be a plc no?

Now that we're a Private Limited Company is a hostile takeover still possible?

The same rules do not apply so that a hostile takeover would be much less likely to succeed.
