Strathspey game

Does anyone here in the know have any idea what sort of team will be put out tomorrow night against Strathspey? Was planning on taking a trip through and would like to see some of the big guns playing.

Got a feeling this game is going to be a chance for the younger players to get a full game while the first team will be playing Elgin, but then again I could be wrong and the teams may be a mix of first/youth and trialists in both teams.

It says in todays Courier that the Elgin game will feature the majority of the first team squad while the Strathspey game will feature a more youthful side

great cos I am going to the Elgin game.

Butcher will take a strong squad of players to Borough Briggs for a friendly against Scottish Division Three side Elgin City, while ICT assistant manager Maurice Malpas is in charge of what will be a youthful Inverness side that takes on Highland League Club Strathspey Thistle at Seafield Park.

"It's now reaching that stage in pre-season where we need to step it up in terms of our preparation. That is why the majority of the first-team squad will play against Elgin," added Butcher.

glad to see this as well:

Butcher confirmed he is currently "looking at one or two" transfer targets, while more players may arrive on trial this week - but the main priority is to bolster his defence.

Will likely go to Grantown as never seen a game their. Been to Elgin rakes of times so fancy something new, even if it is a youthfull team. Worth watching some of the youngsters against the highland league adults. Hope the likes of Polworth gets a game to see if the hype is right
