Two penalties scored in EFL shoot outs last night, with both on the winning side: Reece McAleer for Tranmere and Jordan Roberts for Stevenage.

Jordan Roberts for Stevenage and Miles Storey for Curzon Ashton last night.

Belatedly in the Highland League at the weekend, Andrew MacAskill got two for Buckie.

Calum Ferguson scored for Clach. He started his career with us as a youngster (back when we were good!) and made a few appearances off the bench.

Only Highland League one I saw last weekend was Ali Riddle for Clach.

As reported elsewhere, Calum Ferguson scored against us last night, and had a penalty saved.

This weekend, Marley Watkins for Kilmarnock and Jonny Hayes for Aberdeen.

Ethan Cairns scored for Forres in the Highland League Cup.

Ryan Christie for Bournemouth and Jordan Roberts for Stevenage in the EFL Cup tonight. Roberts also scored in the penalty shoot out.

We enter the North of Scotland Cup at the second round next month (at home to Rothes on 13 September and if we win we get Forres or Nairn at home in the semi final).

In the first round tonight, Jay Henderson scored a hat trick for County and Wick, whilst Andrew MacRae and Matthew Strachan both scored for Brora against Fort William.

Jay Henderson for County in the North of Scotland Cup against North Caledonian League Golspie tonight. Golspie get the plaudits as County only won 3-0.
