I'm a Sunderland supporter but I recently played football with a young guy who said he played for you lot. He was a goalkeeper and goes by the name of Iain or Ian. I don't have a surname but I was hoping you could still shed some light on this.

Welcome to the forum. There is a John Calder who plays in goal for our under-19's. As John/Ian/Iain are considered the same name in this part of the world it could be him - the names are often interchangeable.
