  • After the red card it was a case of slow the game down and defend like buggery.  W were one lapse away from claiming what would have been an immense point considering we were a man down for 88 minutes

  • How many times does it need to be repeated - whether Raven was the "last man" or not is completely irrelevant. There is nothing in the laws of the game that say a player should be sent off because he

Shinnie on the bench ?!! Shurely TB hasn't been reading the forum " experts" posts ?

he has a "tweaked hamstring" apparently

Lomas looks at it as a "must win" game which means that they will be coming out of the traps in overdrive and the longer that we can keep them at bay. TB is more subdued and made a " wee " hamstring excuse for A.Shinnie. Looks like we may pack five in the midfield - looks like he is adding Draper to both Foran and OTJ in the middle of the park. My only concern is that our back four are very inexperienced, apart fro Raven, and this is a mighty test for Meekings.

Wasn't aware that Doran has been an ever present in the SPL this season.

Well at least TB has shown that he can make big decisions, looks as if he is putting out a relatively novel system and team selection which is evidently geared at tactical considerations. But yet I am still shittting ma self.

Interesting set up - Doran wide right and G.Shinnie left - looks like Foran is playing just in front of Draper and OTJ but in a deeper position than A.Shinie would hold. Looks like Richie and Draper will interchange at driving forward. Saints up fer it as expected and a crazy, crazy yellow for Devine which puts him under further pressure and no ready replacement on the bench. Good start otherwise.

This is going well!

Looks like we have reverted to the old Foran wide left for bals from the keeper. Terry has been reading the forum !

Raven red carded - no argument - but caused by a ridiculous clearance by Reguero. It looks like he has put Meekings to rite back and the two young lads in the middle - lets hope to feck that is temporary.

*weeps*

Raven didn't even need to do that.  The pass was going to take Vine wider than he would have liked so he should have let him go.

At least the pitch suits a game of hoofball.  If we can get away with a 0-0 here it'll be a great result particulalry against 12 men.

I know that we are under the cosh and down to ten men but we are hoofing it up to wee Billy when we should be looking to hit the feet of Doran as often as possible - and the ref has it in fer us as Craig gets off with a definite yellow.

With the way Thompson is going I'd be amazed if we finish with 10.

Well as long as Tade is on the pitch its 10 vs 10

Tade should have scored after a mix up between Devine and Taylor - please get Meekings back centrally as he is also evidently finding it hard going back to the rite back position - and now Taylor lunges when he stood have held the central ground. Both youngsters on yellows. Great save by Reguero (twice). I would be thinking about Foran and Meekings together at the back

Jesus we are using up a lot of luck as well as energy - but there again so are they (energy). This is nerve wracking and there is only 35 minutes gone !!

Tempo has really slowed down due to injuries and fouls. We have done more in the last five minutes than in the rest of the half.

To say the opening 35mins were a little dodgy is the understatement of the season. However we really seem to have got to grips with the situation in those last 10mins of the half. We're winning possession much higher up the park and more importantly keeping it. It almost seems as though we've tired them out a la the old rope-a-dope.
