In a similar vein to the 'Ex ICT players score' thread.

 

I see that Dougie Imrie has signed for Hamilton Accies. Has he still 'got it' for the top-flight? He's just endured a depressing season with a very poor Morton side. What I'm really surprised about is that he's only 30 - I always thought he'd come into senior football at a relatively late age, being snapped up from the juniors - he seems to have been around for ever!

 

Reluctant to wish him too much luck as he's obviously going to be in direct opposition to us next season!

It’s worse than that. He was playing in the match and got the red card when they were 7-0 up: utter madness!

Manny Duku and Scott Boden are both at National League York City now.

Liam Fox interim manager at Dundee Utd. I doubt he’ll get many games in charge, but he can’t get worse results than Jack Ross, surely!

Ross Draper joined Elgin this week after being released by Cove.

His best years were obviously with us, what a player he was.

James Vincent is now with FC United of Manchester. 

Anthony MacDonald is now at Brechin. We will have two old faces returning next week given Kevin McHattie is there too. 

Train strikes, roadworks on the M8, what a nightmare. I gave Ayr a miss and watched my local team Bonnyrigg who lost 4-2 to Stenny featuring Nat Wedderburn. Looked a bit slimmer than I remember.

Sam Pearson is now on loan to Yeovil from Bristol City. Alex Fisher is also at Yeovil. 

Ross Tokely is apparently moving from North Caledonian League team St Duthus, where he was coaching and seemingly still playing (certainly last season) to Nairn County.

They’ve just appointed a new Manager so not sure in what capacity he is joining them.

Does he still coach our youngsters?

Yes, I am sure he does.

Gary Warren sent off in Clach’s 4-0 defeat at Turriff in the Highland League Cup this afternoon. 

I see Adam Rooney (now 34) who joined Stratford Town in the summer, is now at Brackley Town and scored today.

A bad day for our former defensive stalwarts. Josh Meekings blasted a penalty over in the shoot out as Brora lost to Banks O’Dee on penalties in the HL Cup today. 

Stayed local today and saw Elgin win at Hill of Beath in the Scottish Cup, featuring Ross Draper and Lewis Nicholson.

If BBC are right, Draper was part of a back 3 and Nicolson was in an advanced role on the left side.

How did Nicolson do? I saw great potential in him when he got game time with us.

Aye Lewis was wearing 3 but appeared to be playing as a wing back as you say. He's decent as I saw at the semi at Tynecastle, could be ready for some game time, maybe he'll get recalled in January...I see you've got the right spelling, I got the wrong one off the Elgin website.

Stuart Golabek appointed interim Manager at Brora with Josh Meekings one of those assisting him. The previous Manager resigned. Golabek had only returned to Brora as Assistant Manager recently.

Graeme Shinnie (now 31) has gone on loan from Wigan to Aberdeen.

Richard Hastings has parted company with Inverurie after 17 months as Manager. 

Roy Mcbain has also left his assistant manager post at Banks of Dee FC
