3G at TCS?

Wee poll.

Can't remember if this has been discussed before (probably) but what do folk think about the possibility of a 3/4G pitch? It would suit out passing style of play. Gaffer seems keen enough, but I can understand Drape's concerns. I wonder what the injury stats for players at clubs with synthetic pitches compares to those with grass? There's a project for you Sneckboy

Good point Gordie--I came over the last time in August and nearly froze to death, got the flue and was miserable. That's one reason why I did not show up at the Innes that and the fact that  I don't drink much at all.

Whilst artificial surfaces provide a better playing surface, a poor playing surface has resulted in some of the most memorable moments in the game.

This is one of the great FA Cup moments and would never have happened on an artificial surface.  Sadly Hereford utd have gone out of business this year but at least at least the game's administrators and the sharks that ruin some football clubs can never take away the memory of this from the folk of Hereford.

I'd somehow missed that about Hereford United folding! Although I don't follow the English game too closely. Jeez.

Always sad when a football club goes under. (except Rangers, obviously)

Instead of learning how to adapt your play on a plastic pitch would it not be better to let the pitch teach you how to understand it. One of Hamiltons recent goals against united is a good example.

Perhaps Dundee United should consider a synthetic pitch.

Seeing as its £5 for the replay.

I think they're going for the sympathetic pitch
