After Gus Macpherson was fined for being critical of an official in the press, I wonder if the SFA will take any action against CC for his comments during the post-match interview.  Seems like complete tyranny at SFA HQ, if anyone dares speak out about a decision then the minimum action taken appears to be a fine.  Surely the SFA have to realise that there are referee's out there that are incompetent.  :024:

There is a difference between saying a decision was "harsh" and calling the ref a lying cheat, a la Gorkski Rd.

CC said the decision was a harsh one, he recognises that the referee must make split second decisions, and went on to say the referee made the wrong decision

The point I'm making is that CC didn't stop at saying the decision was harsh, he continued to say the ref was plain wrong.

There are a few conflicts as to why he was sent off, BBC are saying he got sent off for his two footed tackle on Robson, whereas Sky Sports are saying he was sent off for "abusive language"

There might have been "abusive language" after the incident but even before the ref reached for the card I said to the bloke beside me "that's a red".  The way I saw it the intent was to stop Robson at all cost, the challenge was blatent and constitutes "violent conduct". 

I feel that Munro and the tackle were an absolute feckin disgrace and was letting the fans down. The wee ginger **** got up.

I don't think MacPherson ever said the word cheat more that he said the linesman was arrogant when dealing with his players.

Surely we should have our 'auxillary' coaching staff doing the dirty work. If you're up for having a go at the linesman or the ref - get the goalkeeping coach to do it. Who cares if he gets a 5-game touchline ban?

:015: That's all fair and well at the game on the touchline, but the goalkeeping coach rarely gets a post-match interview.  It's scandalous that even though there are 6 year old children that could referee a game better than some of our officials, the SFA refuse to accept this and instead make examples of those who dare speak out against them.
