  1. From the horses mouth...Hayes will be out for 3 weeks. If there is a plan B now is the time to evoke it. As above to all the criticisms, plus...shooting...after the departure of Hart, and more recently Imrie, we have been seeing a lot more shots go on target. Did the Smirren keeper have anything to do in the 2nd half. The ballboys in the Northstand did. Too many leaning back. Special note for Russel, who scored a cracker a few weeks back; we thought the Row Z ball was a think of the past, till today.
  2. Why is the Diggers attracting such bad press. What happened there? It used to be very acceptable.
  3. This time next month I will be living in Zambia, and will be spreading the message.
  4. A few websites ago Scotty did a feature on this, with lots of folk wearing their tops in exotic places. There was one of me and my oldest girl wearing ours in front of Castle Bran in Transylvania, and another with her in Ghana, training with a ladies team. Love your story OP, it just shows that footbaal will bring us together, forget overpaid stars, FIFA allegations and warring governments, a good kick around unites people.
  5. Aberdeen are not the draw that they were even when Pele was pulled over. TerrynJune know this.
  6. The defence fund has been spent on voddy. Allegedly.
  7. I thought about you, when I saw this. I just wonder will any of the board, management or supporters trust be going.
  8. Scottish football clubs must lose the tag of being a ?business? before their true value is recognised, according to football finance expert Stephen Morrow, who will be speaking in Stornoway and Inverness. The University of Stirling academic believes that the traditional ownership model and its emphasis on business performance has failed Scottish football clubs. Morrow will present his argument on Wednesday 8 December at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway from 6.30pm and on Thursday 9 December at the Auditorium, Centre for Health Science in Inverness from 5.30pm. This free lecture, open to the public, is entitled The business of Scottish football ? time for a new model? Time for change in footie business model?
  9. I demand to know who Terry and Mo think will win OutDoor Celebrity Big Brother or whatever it is called.
  10. I would be interested to see if he includes Inverness in his promotional circus next time...
  11. If he had to make love to one animal which would it be? (Lady animal obviously)
  12. Georghe Hagi was seriously considered. IHE told me so.
  13. TerrynJune wouldn't drop Shinnie for a fit Gillet, at the moment.
  14. As above, that idea is so laughable. I know that Chic Young likes to come across as the Daft Laddie of Scottish football, but that is an idea so lacking in any thought that it is an insult to his listeners. Butcher knows where he is best.
  15. Innit, KB. Still looks like a mild mannered accountant, but hiding a deadly goal-machine. He was playing at Roy's do the other night, and brought back all the confusion, as to how anyone so painfully slow-lloking could bag all those goals. *Better watch what I'm saying he will probably be online too. Hi, Paul! *waves*
  16. I have no doubt that there is an anti-Catholic anti-Celtic agenda in the West of Scotland. Catholics have historically been a persecuted minority in Scotland, but a big one. To accuse any ref of consistent bias, you better have a strong telescop to see what is in their hearts. Decisions come and go, and imho, Celtic, like Rangers get more than their share of 50/50 calls. All refs are football fans, so will have an allegiance to a certain team, but their decsions should stand scrutiny. But correctly, McDonald should walk.
  17. Oh Jeebus, you never know who you get on here. *reddens* No offence, Roger. Your success speaks for itself. I will be watching for the other tropes...
  18. Exactly. The reason our opponents never play well is that if they did they would surely beat a wee Highland league team, wouldn't they? I mean, they did it in the cup in the old days. I hope we continue to be underestimated for a long long time yet.
  19. Not offensive, and cool to get a mention. But so not funny. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bathos Every single Beau Peep and the other one about the cowboy uses bathos. Tedious.
  20. What a match! I wish I had been there! I like McLeod trying to sound enthusiastic. Bloody marvellous result. WHat a team!
  21. The Dude is right. They should respect the refs right to be heard. No to SCABS.
  22. We did cheer him on. As Doofers Dad said, it was not the time or place to bear grudges. Brew could have hid in a hole, but he came and supported his mate. Dissing on Brew is to diss Roy, as the young people say. We cheered everytime they booed and found that most amusing.
  23. Good night out. Barry still full of running, but my MOM, apart from Royster, was Sheerin who was superb throughout tricky and aware. A class of his own. Well taken goal too. Scotty McLean and Dennis were there too but didnt play. Shame about Brew getting booed; he didnt have to be there. The Irish Shamrock were all rested as were Esson and others, or "it would have been 9-0" according to Hayes. Pele looked well. Well done for the trust for organising it all, the complexity of which was gratefully acknowledged by the beneficiary.
  24. Me, plus three. We are doing hospitality for a treat and hoping to chat to some of the stars of yesteryear.
  25. What is wrong is you are disrespecting Alex by saying so Can you please refer to the team as ICT or Inverness in the future, as far as i can see you are just trying to get a rise out of the ex jaggies which achieves nothing other than splitting the support :irritated: dougal Dougal, you make me laugh, fer sure, just can't decide whether I like you or not.
