Stirling Albion at home

I will take that: a home game we should win, and we’ve avoided Championship teams.

They are top of League 2 so another team we should not under estimate.

Yeah should be decent, I was hoping for an away tie v Linlithgow, Talbot or Pollok but at least we’ve got a relatively straight forward game.

I say,

Are the still replays if we draw?

Eh what? 🧐

No, extra time then penalties this season (other than the Preliminary Round).

Last time we played Stirling, they beat us on penalties in the League Cup…..

I remember that. Stirling chappie did a Ronaldo with a free kick to give them the lead.

In light of our injury situation and the spfl's refusal to sanction a recall of our loan players, is this a good opportunity to field a team with several 'first year pros' starting? Beneficial as a cup run would be it would obviously put even further stress on the squad over the next few months, so a good competitive fixture would be a worthwhile experience. Sod the SPFL.

As for the challenge Cup, we could field our under 18's.
