Mark Brown set to play in Champions League game

Looks like Broonie will get his chance to play in the Champions league for Celtic as Boruc injured his shoulder in pre-season at Newcastle.

He played today in Celtics 1-0 win over Parma. Good times for Broon, enjoy it while it lasts.

I've always had a sneakey feeling that if Brown doesn't get many games for Celtic he would come back to ICT but I don't know now if people would put him over Fraser.

Brown is only playing in reserve and preseason games they wont actually let him play in the first team surley

Its celtic here they will get another keeper in if Borich is injured

According to most sources he's defo playing for the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Personally I hope he plays great and puts real pressusre on Borucs

place in the team. He's a top keeper who served us well and did as much as anyone to keep us in the Spl for 3 years. Good luck Mark.

He might even get a chance at Scotland no2 since he is now at Celtic if he can put some games behind him. :023:

Even when he was our number 1, I felt Mike would do a better job based on what I saw in the few appearances he got in the first team as well as reserve team performances. Much better distribution, with similar shot stopping capabilities.

Good luck Mark, but I won't be cheering him on in any way.
