Setanta Sports

Has anyone on here had problems with them???  i ordered my subscription on saturday afternoon and three days later i have not been able to view any of their channels. I have called their customer services three times and even sent them an email on sunday (which i have not had a reply to). Each time i spoke to one of their 'advisors' they said that the signal would be re-sent and i will be able to view the channels within 15 mins to an hour. but as yet all i get is a message saying that the signal is not being received. :symbol_question:

any thoughts?????

imagine me giving advice on this sort of thing!!  :rotflmao:

have you tried rescanning your channels?

yeah tried re scanning channels but no luck. its letting me view setanta ireland and the two horse racing channels but not the channels i want (setanta sports 1+2, NASN) called again last night but still not working so reckon might take gringo's advice.  :015:

Call them again and check the Sky Viewing Card number that they have in their system. It is possible that they have recorded it incorrectly, and every time they send a signal it is activating someone else.

I think the channels that you can view just now are sometimes available unencrypted (ie seen by everyone) so that is a bit of a red herring, unless for some reason your Sky card originated in Ireland has been brought over here?

thats the thing, each time i call, one of the first things i get asked for is the sky viewing card number, they read it back correctly and say that the subscription is active. i wasnt sure bout the other channels because i had never really bothered bout it till my dad let me order setanta. no doubt ill call again later on to try and get it sorted. quite fancy seein celtic get beat! :001:

I just ordered Setanta as part of my Virgin media package.  Should start getting it in the next 24 hours.
