  1. ******Zadi-Watch update 2013****** (Note that all references to him these days are in the name Lionel Zadi, he seems to have dropped the Djebi.) After not getting hired a year ago in Indonesia, Lionel returned to La Reunion and played this time for AJ Petite-Ile. He recently moved onto his 3rd club on the island, USS Tamponnaise (in a place called Tampon), so it seems fair to say his career is enjoying a successful period.
  2. hopefully the club told the establishment last year, in the strongest terms that if we got to a semi again we would fulfil our fixture if we were drawn to play at the national stadium. if we drew an Edinburgh team we would not play in Edinburgh. if we do draw the winner of the Edinburgh tie in all fairness the game should be played in dingwall. even then we would still have to travel further than hearts did last year
  3. Ukrainian Premier League Marius Niculae (Chornomorets Odesa 2-1 Hoverla Uzhorod) His first goal for his new club.
  4. Bloody hell! They probably play that "ooooo Bodyform" song when they score!
  5. John MacDonald - Ex-Rangers striker who'd been round the clubs from Charlton on loan, to Barnsley....to Fort William! Came in on trial during our first season and scored at Hampden against Queens Park. His last club (unless he's still there!) was amateur side Drumchapel United. He perhaps has the possible distinction of being our second best ever goals to games to ratio behind Iain Stewart (one goal in two games! ) and is possibly the last trialist to ever score for us in a competitive match. Seemingly after his trial here, he never played in a senior game again.
  6. What gets me is that the SFA rules are out of line with FIFA. FIFA Disciplinary Code (FDC) PAGE 19 ARTICLE 17 Caution 1. A caution (yellow card) is a warning from the referee to a player during a match to sanction unsporting behaviour of a less serious nature (cf. Law 12 of the Laws of the Game). 2. Two cautions received during the same match incur an expulsion (indirect red card) and, consequently, automatic suspension from the next match (cf. art. 18 par. 4). The two cautions that incurred the red card are rescinded. 3. If a player receives a caution in two separate matches of the same FIFA competition, he is automatically suspended from the next match in that competition. The Disciplinary Committee may exceptionally depart from or amend this rule before the start of a particular competition. Any such decision reached by the Disciplinary Committee is final. 4. If an abandoned match is to be replayed, any caution issued during that match shall be annulled. If the match is not to be re-played, the cautions received by the team responsible for causing the match to be abandoned are upheld; if both teams are responsible, all of the cautions are upheld. 5. If a player is guilty of serious unsporting behaviour as defi ned in Law 12 of the Laws of the Game and is sent off (direct red card), any other caution he has previously received in the same match is upheld.
