  1. Foran, Shinnie and probably Pepper are out for this one, so I'd go with: Brill Raven Warren© Meekings Tremarco Tansey Draper Doran Christie Watkins Mckay Subs - Esson, Vincent, Williams, Ross, Devine, Polworth, Evans
  2. Up until now Barry Robson was the only former ICT player to have played in MLS after leaving the club. He played for Vancouver. Dan Stratford also played in MLS but came the other direction (from DC United to ICT) There's been plenty of other Scots or players who have played for Scottish teams in MLS but until now no other ICT players that i know of: see here for a pretty comprehensive list of 'foreigners' playing in MLS Imagine my surprise when I saw this guy on Saturday playing for Colorado against Toronto ....... Do you know who this is getting up close and personal with Dwayne De Rosario ??

Oh, I get it now...! I didn't appreciate the quirky significance until I also read it in the paper! When you posted it, Ten4, I thought you'd maybe been on the sauce early doors! I looked at a few recent cup finals and noticed that in 2012 the final was on the 19th and Skacel scored for Hearts as no.19. The year before, 2011, the final was on the 21st and Mulgrew scored for Celtic as no.21. I just thought, blimey, this happens all the time! But it's the 'MAY' part I overlooked! 17th May final and May is no.17!
  5. Oh yeah of little faith. We have already beaten all the teams we need to play this season bar Celtic so there's no reason why we cant do it again.
  6. It makes no difference whatsoever if Dundee United pip Motherwell for 3rd. We would still have to catch Motherwell for 4th which is pretty much the same position we are in now trying to catch them for 3rd. Same number of points to make up. It's too much of a gap and one win against county is not going to suddenly make us unstoppable. We will never win every game post split.

I doubt anyone else would have noticed!
  8. That's a good shout but I really can't see Motherwell slumping now IMO.
  9. You shouldn't. The game's at Hull!
  10. Having read a couple of reports on this I get the impression a couple of beat cops saw a fracas and moved in. Everyone ran and Richie tried to hide but was caught and subsequently charged with breach of the peace. Looks like that and cctv were the only evidence and no further investigating was carried out to trace the others involved. It seems there were no assault charges laid at anyone. Just breaking the peace. Cops added perverting the course of justice to make a case of it but that was thrown out. Probably none of it should have ever reached the courts. Thats my take on it anyway.

Well done to Brora on winning the league yesterday! Yes, they've 'spent big' but a first Highland League title in their 135 year history is still noteworthy. If they can repeat the success next season, they'd now find themselves preparing for a game against the Lowland League champions for the right to challenge the bottom SPFL team for their league place. As things stand, it would be Brora v. Spartans, with the winner taking on Queen's Park. I'm sure Formartine, Cove and even Nairn, amongst others, will be throwing money at improving their squads for the next campaign. Interestingly, it's been reported that 7 clubs (un-named) have applied to the Lowland League for 4 places to take their numbers up to 16 for next season. The days of teams living a comfortable existence in the bottom league of Scottish football are drawing to a close!
