  1. Jonny Hayes made his first start for (a much weakened) Ireland last night in a 0-1 home defeat to Iceland. He had previously made an appearance off the bench about a year ago in another friendly. He'll soon be 30, so this might be as good as it gets as far as his international career goes. In contrast, Stuart Armstrong made an impressive Scotland debut v Slovenia, with a neat bit of play to create the winning goal. If only his parents hadn't moved away to Dundee, we'd........well, let's be realistic, we'd have sold him for £50,000 to the first club to show any interest!

Slightly off topic, but worth mentioning that Jamie McCart made his Scotland U21 debut last night in a 0-0 with Estonia.
  3. Let's not squabble about who said what about London trains, crutches or anything else. The important and hugely unfortunate thing is that one of our best and most influential players as well as a significant contributor of goals is going to miss a number of matches at a time of great peril for the club. If ever there was a time to pull together it's now and let's hope that Carl recovers in time to contribute to the vital post split fixtures.
  4. Ibra Sekajja scored another tonight (28 Mar) for Dulwich Hamlet in a 2-0 win at Billericay in the Ryman Isthmian league.
  5. Apologies for trying to be humorous
