The other Thistle's result at New Douglas Park this evening against a full strength Hamilton makes our own inability to rescue even a point there a fortnight ago seem even more lacklustre. With other sides in such form, it's vital that we get our title push back on track tomorrow with a home win against Morton.

Only two defeats at home versus Morton out of sixteen encounters. One of those was as recent as last season though, when we went down to the only goal of the game at the Caledonian Stadium. I received an email from the club today confirming that the current COVID rules on red zones will continue until the next review scheduled for Christmas times. The club add 'We recognise that the situation is far from ideal but in what was an extremely constructive and respectful discussion, all 10 clubs respected the differing situations and challenges we all still face.' From a personal perspective this is completely sensible.
