  1. I sincerely hope that all those in ICT who have tested positive will have a speedy recovery with no ongoing ill effects. Their health is more important and I wish them all well. They won’t be having a very Happy Christmas now but I hope they recover enough to have a Happy New 2022 Year. Lizi xx

  2. Wide players? I thought this was going to be about Leigh Griffiths given he's put on a pound a two

  3. On the other hand, if we get it right we could be back on top of the league.

  4. I agree Lizi, it’s a big outbreak but hopefully their symptoms are mild and no one is seriously Ill. I assume that the club means that only 8 out of our 19 current players would have been available and that the figure does not take account of the 7 youngsters out on loan. I’m just a bit surprised we weren’t required to recall them and field a weakened team! Hopefully common sense by the SPFL for once. I read the statement as the SPFL agreeing to the postponement so there ought to be a new date for it at some point.

  5. The value of a vaccine passport is that even if you do have Covid and pass it on, you are not passing it on to someone who is unvaccinated. Unvaccinated people are far more likely to become seriously ill with Covid. That is reflected by the fact a hugely disproportionate number of Covid patients in hospital are unvaccinated. It is, of course, the pressure on the NHS that drives the decisions about imposing restrictions. There is a rather unfortunate irony here in that it is the unvaccinated who complain most about their rights and loss of freedom, yet it is their irresponsible actions which are a major reason why restrictions are being imposed.
