The Community Trust has issued an update on the Hub project. Within the article is this: “We are busy identifying other sources of funding to ensure we can realise our goal of providing our city with a first class community asset.” A link to the update: https://www.icttrust.org.uk/community-hub/1 point

This is all to try and prove that the profits from the battery farm sale will have a socio-economic benefit for the city. The document submitted by he new planning consultant is very reliant on claiming the funds will go towards a lot of projects particularity things run by the community trust. There is also a lot about the funding of the new pitches which basically claims that none of these things can continue without this money. All very odd as its always been claimed in the past that all these projects as self funded! These extracts are directly from the document submitted to HC: A significant proportion of the financial benefits accrued from the development will be managed through the ICTFC Community Development Trust. This is an established charitable Trust organisation that already provides significant benefits to the local community including funding community related initiatives; incorporating school visits to develop the importance of health and exercise, walking football, facilities to enable participation by disabled persons and school breakfast clubs. The community/charitable work is delivered by a combination of paid ATC staff, volunteers, supporters and members of the local community. The investment of time spent on community and charitable work is some 14,000 hours equivalent to 1,758 days or 352 person weeks. The Trust access funding through multiple sources which is challenging in the current financial climate and the stability of income over several years can help provide a stable platform to flourish and grow. For 2022-23 the Trust had an income of some £181,718 of which £165,000 was spent on community initiatives. The Trust delivered projects to the local community and in an educational setting equivalent to some 12, 000 hours or 80% of its annual activity. This is a considerable contribution to the area and will continue to expand and progress with the funding the BESS provides. The proposed new Hub at the IRA will enable these initiatives to be expanded and developed and increases the community benefits to the local area. The new Hub will only be capable of delivery with the funding this proposal will deliver.1 point

An improvement from December with 2-0 loss away to Airdrie, away win at Ayr 1-3, lost at dome to Dundee Utd 0-1, home win against Broomhill 4-0 and a good away win against Raith Rovers 2-3. A new winner for January Alex Samuel with Danny Devine, Cameron Harper and Morgan Boyes very close behind. The PotY standings are now Nathan Shaw leading, second Nikola Ujdur, third Billy Mckay, fourth David Wotherspoon, fifth Max Anderson and sixth Morgan Boyes. David Wotherspoon will drop out of the running now. Alex Samuel has started to pick up points and with all our new signings things might change or will the leaders be able to get enough points to hang on? It is up to you please keep the votes coming in.1 point

Was the park and ride concept not one which specifically related to the construction of the Red John Hydro scheme? The idea being that the significant construction workforce would get bused to the site from the stadium. The club would therefore get a steady revenue for the parking of workers cars and, possibly, various construction related equipment. Another idea that had been floated at one time was to turn the Sports Bar into a cafe with a view to attracting workers from businesses around stadium road and NC500 traffic. This would be linked with several car charging points. Can't see this catching on myself. Can't see a traditional park and ride working either. I live on the Black Isle and so the site would potentially be very convenient for me. But why would I wait half an hour for a shuttle to take me into town when there is plenty of reasonably cheap parking in the city centre and regular buses which I wouldn't have to wait half an hour for and which go directly into the centre?1 point

Yet again it would seem that inferences made by the CEO are having to be corrected by the Chairman. This time it's the Battery Storage being a one off windfall and not the ongoing income stream we were lead to believe it would be. What happens when that money (assuming it happens) has been swallowed up by debt and operating costs that are beyond our means? Do we just keep running up debt in the hope that another windfall arrives from somewhere? The most recent accounts show a hole in excess of £800k in required annual income. There's no hope of Premiership football on the horizon, the club are doing nothing to improve the fans experience or relationship with fans, so numbers will likely continue to fall and the pie in the sky ventures are alienating local businesses, damaging the support we get from there. It's an absolute shitshow and if they think fans can be placated and brought back by filling a few holes in the north car park, then it's just another example of how out of touch with reality they really are. Get these clowns to **** away from the club.1 point
