  2. Hi James, thankfully the game has been called off early enough for you to make alternative arrangements despite missing out on the match itself. I had a barren trip some years ago for the same frozen pitch scenario when we were due to play Ross County in Dingwall - unfortunately I had driven as far as Nairn from Norfolk when I heard the announcement on Moray Firth Radio a couple of hours before kick off. I was a bit miffed to say the least and phoned the club to double check. Upside was I got invited to call in at the stadium for a cuppa and met the management team - you wouldn’t get that at one of your Premier League clubs! Enjoy your weekend and hopefully you’ll get back for a game sometime.
  3. We issued updates to members following our Board Meetings in January and February. You can read the updates in posts in the Supporters Trust Forum: https://caleythistleonline.com/forum/152-supporters-trust/ The February update includes details of the Fans Meeting that will take place at 1230 on Saturday 1 March in Bar 94, with an additional matchday bus being provided by Stagecoach at 1200 to the Stadium, which will allow time to grab a pie or a drink before the meeting starts. Charlie Christie and Scott Young will both be joining us to give an update on the club’s situation, whilst Charlie will also look back on the club’s first 30 years in conversation with our Chair, George Moodie. The meeting is open to all fans and we hope to see many of you there. If you are not already a member of the Trust, joining is easy (and only £5, or £1 for under 16s): https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/join-us
  4. Ha, press issue an apology!
  5. Cove 3-1 Annan Dumbarton 2-3 Montrose Pity Dumbarton couldn’t hold out for the draw but it leaves Annan still only 5 points ahead of us and we now have a game in hand with a vastly superior goal difference.

First class idea and a superb read. Well done to all those involved
  7. There will be a few things at play with the TV situation. 1. BBC will be under no obligation to show every team. 2. It costs them way more to send a camera/broadcasting crew to Inverness than anywhere else. Even more so since we removed all the TV infrastructure (camera towers etc). 3. Like it or not, we're just not an interesting team for TV. We've no 'derby' opponents in this league and we've not been far enough up the table to be a contender at any point. Nothing to draw viewing figures. I suspect BBC will get another pick for the postponed game, and they'll be holding that and the other remaining slot to see what happens in the last couple of weeks. At least one of those will go to a top of the table battle, but there's a chance the other is us. If nothing else exciting is happening and we're 'safe' then they might want to cover "The Great Escape" story...or if we're not safe and it comes down to the wire!! At this level, I don't believe there's any extra income for clubs who are televised, so no financial benefit. In fact, being on TV has the opposite effect as it generally stops people attending and reduces gate income etc. So if we do get a TV game, we want an away one 😂
  8. Off topic but the bbc alba live matches have been announced up to match day 11 out of 12 for the season. So far…….. 1. Montrose v QOS. 2 cove v Arbroath. 3 stennie v Alloa. 4 Annan v QOS. 5 QOS v Alloa. 6 Arbroath v QOS. 7 kelty v stennie. 8 Arbroath v kelty postponed weather 9 stennie v Arbroath. 10 Dumbarton v Arbroath. 11 cove v stennie. 12 TBC. Times live game shown……arbroath 5, stennie QOS 4, Alloa cove kelty 2, Annan Montrose Dumbarton 1. Only ict with zero appearances. would a query to bbc alba from an official organisation get an answer as to why we have not been selected eg supporters trust.? an away game for me or home game for others further a field. Bottle of beer and a curry in front of the telly in the warmth for a change. You can tell I am suffering today from no footie syndrome.
  9. Rescheduled for 1945 on Tuesday 11 March.
  10. Luckily I never wrote a Preview.... Oh wait...
  11. It's been confirmed by P&J that the sale did complete and the Brick administrators are in control of the property. They edited an existing online article rather than publish a new one saying they were wrong...I wonder why 🤔
  12. The car park situation is a growing concern and surely the stumbling block for potential buyers. Mr Cameron and Mr Morrison are going to get the best deal they can, especially after the war of words with Sir Alan Savage!
