  1. Broadwood pre-match
  2. I’m sure it’s being thought about by the club, however I want to raise or put-it-out-there regarding promoting and maximising the marketing of the remaining home games in the run down to this season campaign. Baring a complete collapse or multiple injuries, the likelihood is ICT will either win promotion as champions (my view), or enter into the playoffs. The weather will improve as Spring approaches. Add in the team is playing well and scoring goals in most games the opportunity to attract more fans and ‘sell’ the club for corporate and sponsorship should be exploited to its full. I know we did it in the past however I haven’t see it recently, and that is Primary School kids. Weather and organising teacher / parent control will be a factor, however if we are going to attract more fans then this is the best place to start IMO. Let them in for nothing. I’m happy to offer a drink for a class attending to help. Be nice to get ahead of our cousins across the bridge for once and can’t think of a better opportunity to promote the club. Tuppence worth!! bc
  3. More important than who they were playing was that Scotland produced a great performance after having been totally clueless the week before. Restored some pride and hope. I had the rugby on TV, and the football on the laptop for its first half. Its second half was pretty anxious, knowing that just one slip could level the scores. A poor game, but an away win was very welcome against a team that would have been 4th in the table if all had been well off the pitch.
  4. Well done lads. Good win on a pitch which looked awful. Great couple of hours TV viewing, with the rugby on one set and our game on Alba on the other. I was bouncing between the two sets like a yoyo at times. Happy days.
  5. Well done to the team and the travelling supporters yesterday. Keep on keeping on for the final push - how good would it be to go straight up without any dreaded play off games? C'mon Caley
  6. I actually think some of our fans would prefer we play like Brazil and lose ratger than grind out a win sometimes! Me Im delighted with 3 points and otger results going our way. Id take the same next week at fortress PSG Sarens. A real opportunity to open a real gap. Tbf if it wasnt for the deduction it would be thrre already. Well done to the lads
  7. Dreadful (dangerous ) pitch, poor game# - Bottom line for me is, this is THE victory that leads to unstoppable promotion as division champions. # Fair play to both set of players attempting to play on that surface and weather yesterday. The conditions were quite simply hazardous and the opportunity to display any skill or quality were nil. This led directly to the poor fare on display. As has been said, quite simply these surfaces should have been banned by the authorities. But we all know they won’t. - Only a matter of time when some player suffers a serious injury on this surface. Hope the players union sues the SPFL. bc
  8. It’s points that matter at this stage of the season. Performances are a bonus. If we win the league by grinding out 1-0 wins I won’t be complaining. Well I might forget that sometimes as I am greedy and want good performances too but at the end of the day promotion is what counts and what the record books will hopefully show come May.
  9. Just thawing out and watching it back. I’ll sub Queens and County losing for nos 4 and 5. Paul Allan MoM for me.
  10. Today’s wish list: 1 Beat the Accies - job done ✔️ 2 Montrose to beat Stenny - ok I’ll take the draw ✔️ 3 Beat the English in the pointy ball game - gubbed ‘em ✔️ 4 Tranmere to end their losing streak - Boss kidda ✔️ 5 Canaries to reach 5th round - On The Ball City ✔️ Oh just a perfect day! Cheers Lou for the perfect song for today 😁
  11. That was a hard fought win. The first half was relatively comfortable but the second was much tougher. The table looks much better tonight than it did this morning.
