  1. I'd rather he'd kept his mouth shut and we can just carry on quietly going about being top of the league and rest of the campaign.
  2. Can a mod please change the title of this thread to "Walter Smith quits The Rangers!" It annoys the the sevconians. And that's a good thing!
  3. I'm added.
  4. Esson started pre-season as number 1 and due to injury Brill has been given his chance. He's taken the chance well and does not deserve to be dropped. It's now up to Esson to win his place back IMO. BTW - just for the record I am very big fan of Esson. We're pretty luck to have 2 good keepers. Many other teams in the SPL are not so lucky - c*unty for example!
  5. I do live in Glasgow. The post above that said Scotland would be better off without this "repulsive" pair was correct.
  6. The joy of Trolling by Laurance aged 70 and a bit.
  7. I was at the Partick v Utd game on Friday night (don't ask!) and while Utd only got a point, for my money they were the better team. Scott Fox kept Partick in the game in the first half with a string of really good saves. I honestly think if Utd had taken one of those chances, especially early in the game it would have been a different result altogether. So while it's great the the team are full of confidence I hope there's no complacency. I hope they get right intae them!
  8. 1. Inverness (Raigmore Hospital) 2. Inverness 3. Mid '80's (I think) 4. Glasgow (via London, Belfast and Leicester) That's all.
  9. You should ask for your money back!
  10. RIP. I always liked chatting with him at games. Many's a time he's ask for a hand putting up a flag! What happened to him? I was unaware that he was ill.
  11. You must have a really good memory!
  12. Might've bl0ody known.
  13. Whenever Foran was missing for us last season we struggled. I'd have him start if fit, I believe he brings more to the team than we credit him for. Either way great to see the squad so strong. Happy Beastie!
  14. That's only if Esson is fit, and I'm not sure we can rely on that being the case all season. We are starting the season with just our second choice keeper and a youngster, so there should be a contingency plan in case Brill gets an injury or suspension. I agree with this, the only thing is Arsenal are not renown for producing great goalkeepers
  15. Can you not look at p0rn at the school then?
  16. Fixed that for you.
  17. It was Paul Sheerin's car, he said he wouldn't be using it for quite a while.
  18. The w@nk3r smiley doesn't work as the word gets asterisked out!
  19. Does anyone know if he's travelled with the players to Arbroath for tonight's game? I assume he has. Also, slightly different topic, does anyone know why TB is/was in Germany? Schweinsteiger to replace Foran?...
  20. Yeah. I don't see another thread.
  21. Watch out for Lorraine from Arbroath!...
  22. The highlights don't really show how much Rovers dominated the first half IMO. There was also a lot of long ball played I thought. Warren had a howler (worryingly), Foran too and Greenhaugh was our weakest player and rightly subbed. From watching Terry & Mo I felt they had set the tea up to play a certain way in the 1st half and although it was clear it wasn't working they were letting it play the 45 mins. The 2nd half was much better and good to see some of the younger players play well. Also Doran and Raven we good as was Mackay's effort. While Brillopad did nothing wrong it concerns me slightly that both goals we conceded we from roughly the same angle. Despite my slightly negative comments I think it was a good workout for the team and see no real cause for alarm. Great day out in the sunshine too. A good few beers with come Raith fans too!
  23. Depends on how much ICT would charge Barca, Bayern, Real, etc. to play us in a pre season, a tenner would be ok if they can't afford the full fee. I paid £10 to watch the game in Kirkcaldy at the weekend. We all know Messi used to pretend he was Charlie Christie when he was a kid. Not so sure if Cassilas would be too interested now, not since Jim Calder retired anyhow...
