Just back after a 340 mile round trip, solo this week, Lothian & Borders crew, where were you all guys I can take suffering like that for another 5 games as long as Richie scores more last minute "spectacular overhead kicks" as Robbo says. Can't wait to see it again on the highlights.

Complacency - mind you I think there's more chance of that amongst the support than the squad. Let's not turn up on Saturday expecting Raith to roll over.

I said that unless we challenged for the title, say top 3, then he should just vanish at the end of the season. I never reckoned we should sack him. I still don't think he's the answer but after 8 years of Pele I guess I'm just spoiled.

I missed the game last night but from what I've seen of County this season: they deserved their win at Viccy Park. However it was two defensive blunders that cost us, and even then we could have nicked an undeserved draw. Last week, again they looked better organised than us, better passing and movement, but as the home team, they were very limited in trying to break down our 4-5-1. This time we never gifted them any goals and they could have played all night without scoring. As for the two other games at our place, they pummelled us first half in the league game - no doubt they deserved their win. But at 2-1 they really were on the rack, looked really ordinary, and only the breakaway 3rd goal ended that. In the cup game I thought they were woeful, and we won it comfortably though without anybody hitting the heights. Their view of us is the predictable one about how they play all the pretty football and we just hoof it and get loads of luck :021: Now if you judged ICT on just the derbies this season that might be fair enough (except for the luck), but we're not the leagues top scorers and defenders for nothing. There's weeks when we get into a long ball rut, and it's never clear if it's just the adrenalin of the occasion, or if TB sets them up to play that way. But there's weeks when we are amazing to watch, even if it's just for one half. We have a load of new players and since New Year you can see them gelling, even if it's just TB deciding that the old players were better after all :P The bottom line is, County are punching well above their weight and are going to lose Adams sooner rather than later. I don't think TB is the messiah but he's on target to deliver......

Maybe he has When we routinely put them out of the cup 3-0 a couple of years ago, I emailed him to inform him that he had got his report for The Herald mixed up with the one for the PTFC fanzine. You had to look really carefully to see who it was PTFC were playing, and that on a day when they barely touched the ball :)

We sure missed Foran against County last time. If Foran starts and Eric doesn't we should murder them.

What about Foran early in the second half, the whole goal to aim at and he hits a defender. That could have saved us a few fingernails :lol:

Some of the guys who come on here and moan after home games because we haven't won 5-0 should have been at that game today. We gave them a lesson in the first half but didn't kill them off, just like the game earlier in the season. McCall did his usual at half time and they had loads of possession and almost passed us off the park at times. But we restricted them to a few half chances as everybody was willing to throw their head and body in front of the ball for the 3 points. It was absolutely inspiring and you should have heard the roar at full-time.

A great day out and a right good game of fitba today. First half we were immense. MoM Rooney for me, but Foran was back winning headers in our box and Tokely won absolutely every ball in the air. Great support, just feckin magic today, the reaction of TB and the players and the fans at the final whistle was wonderful :021: :021: :021: :D :D :D :021:
