Can't add very much to that. Enjoyed the day out, possibly the best game of the season so far.. Think the whole world was in the Tulloch institute. Saw virtually every ICT fan I've ever met. Should have been at least 4-0 at ht and then we could have sent out some traffic cones to defend for 45 mins. Instead we can't even play it tight for 15 mins. Has Butcher ever done better than the opposition manager after half time? Does he just shout at the players cos tactically he seems to be a dud. When they scored the first I realised what Ayr felt like when we beat them 4-3. Georgeios get a grip, wee Russell was immense today! Why didn't Rooney look up and square it!!!! Did Imrie get a straight red for the challenge, nothing else? Why was everybody leaving with 5 mins left? We were asking them where the fire was. A bit hard to take at full time especially with the coagies singing '2-0 and you fecked it up'.

Well Herchie got one in 94 but that's not much of a shock..... Edit: According to Broadfoot Scott McLean got 4 the week before we opened TCS against a HL select or whatever. Stewarty got 3 against Albion Rovers in 95-6. Not very shocking though.

I think Charlie would do a decent job in SFL1. The footy was pretty good to watch too. Mind you I'm gonna lamp him for nearly knocking 2 of us over with his Merc coming into the car park for the Partick game the other week.

Nah, there was plenty room if you moved forward a bit. I was standing to the left of the goals and there was more room than last time I was there 5 years ago.

Assuming Bulvitis is one of the players he's 'had enough of', who else have we got that can play centre half? I can't think of anybody apart from Ross. Before anybody says Rosscoe can't either, I would say in div 1 he would cope. He never lost a header yesterday. But who else is on the books apart from Jamie Duff?

Spot on Johndo. Actually enjoyed it in a perverse sort of way.

Positives: we spread a lot of happiness around Ross-shire today...... I heard one guy on the way out saying 'What a day! Even Jennifer Lopez couldn't make it better'. That used to be us. Good to visit Cabbagetown and their wee diddy stadium after nearly six years. BTW the away toilets are still seriously shocking. Well beaten today. I thought 2-1 flattered us but we did have more actual chances than C(o)unty. Bulvitis and Tokely had free headers and if Imrie could shoot straight he might have pinged one of his many blooters past McGovern instead of into the Jail End. The two goals were shocking though - County never created much else even though sometimes it looked to me as if they had an extra man. Interesting to see how things panned out if it was goalless at half time. I think Somers was a bad choice of ref for a derby like that, he's got short person syndrome. Wanted to impose himself on people like Duncan and Butcher but forgot to watch all the off the ball stuff going on, and feet being left in the tackle. Adams obviously had them clued up to niggle Duncan and Imrie which worked well. Also the ref missed the ball being kicked away at least three times at our fouls which is another thing Duncan was moaning about. People should take a leaf out of Foran's book and just play - as they say it's a man's game. Just like so many games this season we came out and played OK after half time once the game was virtually lost. I don't think Butcher is the answer but we may as well give him the season now. At this rate top 4 will be an achievement. Still wouldn't be surprised if we produce a performance in the final in 2 weeks though.

I thought he was helluva impulsive and gave away a few spot kicks, like the one at Killie in the Cup replay. Going back a bit, he got a red against Alloa away once for stamping on a boy when we were 4-0 up FFS. But he had a stormer at centre half on 8/2/00.

An ex pupil of mine. His family was always good for comps at away games.

Great league though. Anybody can beat anybody.
