  4. Foggy Mk ii & Clegg heading up. Compo working. See you in the Innes afterwards. Sorry cannae make Mannae, that would mean getting up at dark o'clock.
  5. Bus conductresses!
  6. Glad you agree then. First division. Robbo's limit.
  7. Haven't seen one of those (Invacars I think they were called, possibly British made?) for about 30 years. I used to visit a garage in Ardrossan in my pre-teacher days where they serviced and painted the things. Used to get loads of them on the track at Ibrox, Parkheid and Rugby Park.
  8. You should worry :015:
  9. Just had a look at the link. Some interesting comments, could almost be our board at times :015: However they seem to have a fair conceit of their MLS. What would you say the standard is like Scotty?
  10. Oats will have to emigrate then.
  11. Robbo wasn't an SPL manager.
  12. Surely it's Rugby Park? Fir Park was a one-off for Europe.
  13. To be honest Gringo, they fill their stadiums every week anyway. I think it's the other clubs wanting to play them twice that's always been the barrier to reconstruction, as otherwise we'd maybe get a 16 team league. I'm old enough to remember an 18 team league and it had its faults too (but too old to remember what they were :015: :015: :015:). In a country this size, there's really no solution that's perfect.
  14. Just checked and it was 17/12/77. Haven't got the earlier one though. Speaking to Kenny Macleod in Lewis last year I was surprised to find some people on eBay are bidding over £80 for some very old programmes involving Caley etc and these are often just a single sheet. I also saw a postcard of Kyle of Lochalsh from about 1934 fetched £70 yesterday. I have to say I've never paid more than £5- £10 for a programme. Maybe that's why the oldest one I've got is Third Lanark away in 1962, followed by Motherwell in 1970.....
  15. That's right, it's just to make the number of games acceptable. I think we copied the Swiss system.
  16. I stayed in Troon for a year. Like Dingwall without the traffic lights.
  17. A bridge too far if you ask me
  18. Well you should have done the honourable thing at our place then :015: Not heading down tomorrow are you Pie?
  19. Did I ever let you down Foggy? And I never made you listen to Pavlov's Mutt either :015:
  20. The Hearts game for me (closely followed by the Ayr game), but obviously I'll vote as expected :015:
  21. He's the one who sent Juanjo off, right?
  22. 14/5/75 Caley 2-3 Hearts (R. Neild, Wood) 3/8/83 Caley 2-0 Hearts (Lisle, Baxter) 29/9/87 Caley 3-4 Hearts (Polworth 2, Hercher). John Docherty testimonial.
  23. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: Gringo Mary had a little lamb She also had a bear I've often seen her little lamb I've never seen her bear.
  24. I widnae ken if they did :015: :015: :015: :015:
