FT 2-0, we're now above them on GD, but with 4 games in hand...

Nobody gets an easy game at Arbroath. Even as an SPL team we once scraped through on penalties in the league cup. In the good old days with Wyness and co. we still lost often enough. Apart from a 7-0 win a few years ago I doubt if we’ve ever won by more than the odd goal. All these draws are killing our season though. That’s 5/11. Edit- Oh yes, a glorious 4-1 thumping in 96 en route to the div 3 title, featuring a marvellous dinked finish by 10cc. As the sun set at 4.45 we went to the top of the league 😉

I don’t think it was removed, we just don’t use it. As @RiG says it’s not mandatory in the Prem any longer.

Considering Rossett Park only holds about 3000, strange quirk of fate to be able to offer virtual tickets. By a sheer fluke I was at a midweek game there a few years ago when I had a few days in Liverpool with Mrs Mantis.

It’s nice that they let us use their Academy sometimes though.

The LL is already in the pyramid Jack, and has several leagues below it. 20-odd years ago the HL could afford to be smug about being of a better standard, but apart from maybe half a dozen clubs at the top it’s a pretty stagnant situation. When you’ve got Brora or Buckie meeting Fort or Lossie regularly in league fixtures, you’ve got problems. (slightly off- topic, but hey, if you’re a member of the junta, sorry I mean a mod, you can take liberties).
