I'm a bit behind and have only reached the Minder episode. Your impassioned remarks/rant on getting a commentator who is ICT to the core were absolutely spot on

This guy's actually worse then Andy Bannerman. Although he hasn't got any of the players wrong, simply by referring to them as the no 4, or the no 7, or the no 5, or the left back. -

Aye, Storey. BBC is bizarre. Seem to have our 2 goals the wrong way round, and the Buckie goal was actually a header... -

Has he mentioned any of our players yet? Apart from Keatings when he scored? -

Overall it's got to be a good thing, but one of the questions you need to ask is "what do Rangers get out of it?" Don't know if ' Development Loans' are still a thing (when I was helping out at Whitehill we got a left back, Scott Gray, from Rangers, on a Development Loan. Since it was only tier 5 he was able to slot straight into the team). So from a Rangers PoV, if he gets bench time plus a few sub appearances then that gives him more competitive experience than he's had so far. From our PoV we get a possible impact sub (maybe even getting some game time tonight at Buckie?) but I'm struggling to see what else. He's a couple of years younger than Kai and less experienced, but McCann will be the judge of what to do with him.

That was more like it. Must have created more chances than the previous 20 games put together P.S. What about that Carson booking?

What baffles me is, we spend all this time keeping possession and passing it backwards, as if it's going to lead to somebody finding a pass, but then we just hoof it anyway. May as well just hoof it right away...- 84 replies

Badly needed 3 points. Not entirely convincing but could have taken a couple of chances, made it safe and given us fewer nerves...- 84 replies

Well, 3 out of 4 isn't bad. On to Tuesday night. Looking for Dundee to beat Ayr while we're hoping to take something at Stark's.

Would have been pretty confident of winning it last season. Maybe play it next time we're a league above them to make it fair. Obviously most of us will not be alive to see it...

I've got mine. That guy Brian who runs the programme shop in Albion Road was trying to buy it... ... before you ask. No. Well done the Hibs today.

A place I have stayed a couple of times is the Rob Roy Motel just outside Aberfoyle. Quite reasonable and the food is really decent. Aberfoyle is a mile away along a cycle path. A few miles east is Loch Rusky which is actually in the Lowlands and attracts all the photographers at dawn if it's misty. Loch Ard in the pic is just to the west and it carries on to Inversnaid on Loch Lomond.

Sadly the pair of them have been forced to play every week because of our threadbare squad. Of the two I feel that Roddy is the more natural footballer but neither looks like the next Ryan Christie, possibly not even the next Polworth. I don’t see that throwing on any of the youngsters would have helped. I would have gambled with Keatings though.

Do you know they stayed? Jack mentioned it but they could have travelled up today and used the hotel to relax.

John McGlynn’s Raith are a good side. We grew into the game I thought. Jittery for the first 20 but we were the better team in the second half although the last 10 were a bit fraught. Defended as if our lives depended on it apart from the opening 20. Fitba is 80% between the lugs and we need a win to inspire confidence. Carson is one of the few players to handle Kennedy this season. Dan Mackay doesn’t have the temperament to be a top player IMO though wide left may not be his best position. That’s twice in a week he’s been booked because he’s too lazy to track back and put in a proper challenge. Looking for Ayr/Arbroath to lose tomorrow but yours truly predicted Arbroath to drop like a stone a few days ago and after tomorrow we’ll have a game in hand (again ).
