  1. My tickets haven't arrived yet! but my cup final DVD, spanking new scarf and ICT mug got here first
  2. There'll be plenty of minor games off tomorrow but I imagine Tynie will be ok.
  3. In case anybody's not been paying attention this could render all the ticket arguments redundant as it's a serious threat to the game. The bridge may reopen tomorrow but today there are reports of 8 mile, even 11 mile, tailbacks around the Kincardine bridges.
  4. No offence meant, OLD chum. Simply a reference to the fact that I'm reaching that age, just like yourself, where I mention people nobody's heard of .......
  5. I can't see C(o)unty losing it tbh. Although their record in the big cup is poor...... Last time they got drawn there I went along with a County supporting mate as I couldn't spare the whole day to go up the road. County got walloped 4-0 but even as the 4th one went in they were busy leaping about because Hamilton had scored against us. some things never change
  6. Spot on. Is Raven still injured? I feel Devine has been given a chance but he's not filled Warren's boots at all - he's let us down too many times this season. Meekings just has to play CB where he's been outstanding for us since Butcher had the sense to switch him there from RB.
  7. Forthbank or Ice Station, hardly riveting but never mind, last time we played the Binos we won 6-1.
  8. Wonder how many on here have been on this site It lets you log the grounds you have visited. Sadly ICT are second bottom of the Prem with 46 members, while only poor old Accies are below us with 14
  9. Afraid I'm going to sound like Scarlet here. When we first signed Meekings I immediately thought he looked like Jim Carter who played the cuckolded dad of Marlow in The Singing Detective (especially how downcast and miserable he always looked that first season) but that was 1986. i tried to find a photo of him from the series but all I can see is photos from Downton Abbey in which he's an old man.....
  10. I was at Peterhead watching Livi go through quite comfortably. Peterhead started brightly but Gary Glen's goal after 15 minutes took the wind out of their sails. Rory battled away gamely off little more than scraps. Shane came on for about half an hour as Jim McInally gambled at 2-0 but Livi killed it on the break. Last week's hat trick hero in the 7-0 demolition of Cowdenbeath, McIntosh, was ineffectual and subbed. Great pies though.
  11. Cheers Sneckboy and Don, probably be at Riccarton though I would imagine, or do I have some vague memory that clubs use the main stadium in this cup. Weird situation, County have already played Morton (and won 2-1) even though the other fixtures aren't up, although QoS is down for this Saturday. I suppose they can only put up what the clubs tell them, or rather the clubs ask permission to stage the fixture......
  12. I couldn't find any dates for the last 16 including the SFA's own site. Where did you get this?
  13. I had us down as playing Celtic away today but it seems to be postponed. Otherwise it's a full card. Any ideas? edit - I see it's down for Friday 8th Jan now
  14. Yes he's got something going for him..... I've sometimes felt that mentally he seems to be on the same wavelength as Ryan Christie, but unfortunately his body isn't
  15. Agree with you up to the point where you said he was lazy The games I've seen, he's been trying all right, but he's just not good enough. Maybe if the premiership came down to the pace he's obviously used to in the Spanish 3rd tier, he'd be an absolute star.....
  16. One of the big days out in the calendar, the xmas visit to Tynie. Can we get it sorted? As others have said, paying at the gate is usually no problem.
  17. Danny Williams and Dave the Rave. Also Ryan Christie if we still have him. Not Tremarco or Devine! Mutombo?
  18. Nah that was at home and it was 8-1. we also beat Whitehill Welfare 3-1, Queen's Park 2-0 and drew at Tannadice in round 4 before losing the replay 3-2. Those were the days.
  19. We played at Boghead in a league game against Clydebank once but we missed Dumbarton on the way up the leagues so never played at the Rock. We also missed Berwick on the way up so only ever played them once in the LC. I've seen the Caley at Recreation Park too Johndo but talking about Balmoor.
  20. Just thought I'd put the Sneckboy hat on for a second after something that was getting discussed on Pie&Bovril about watching your team at every ground in the League. ICT have played at every ground in a competitive fixture except Annan, Dumbarton and Elgin and all of those are still in the Cup. Personally I've never seen ICT play at those 3 or Peterhead or Berwick (I was on holiday at the time of the Berwick 28 and I was desperately trying to get the result of the shoot-out before I drove aboard the MV Isle of Lewis where the car deck had nothing but interference). So 5 to go for me. Still probably get St Mirren though.

Gives me an excuse to share this one. The taker's actually a mate so I'll get unfollowed if he ever sees this
  22. Just been watching the FA Cup on the BBC and saw Marley Watkins (and also Sam Winnall) going from scoring in the Scottish Cup final in front of 37000 to exiting the FA Cup at round 1 with Barnsley in front of 2571 at Altrincham.
  23. they say your memory is the second thing to go. the first is......... I've forgotten.
