  1. I see The Kelpies make an appearance in that video but here they are showing their true colours:
  2. I find if you go up the Polmadie Road, just north of the M74 there's loads of street parking, an easy getaway right onto the Mway after the game. I still don't believe all the guff about them taking you through the courts for parking at Asda mind. If it ever gets that far, and it won't, just tell the Sheriff that £80 or whatever it is, is unreasonable for 3 hours parking and offer them a tenner. It's not a fine after all, it's a "parking charge".
  3. A few times I've searched in vain for the sketch with one of them dressed up as Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma with the words that went something like "We hoped so much that Italy had learned a lot from Germany. We thought they'd play like Klinsmann, Sammer - Instead they played like Kuntz."
  4. As many folk on here know, I'm involved with Whitehill Welfare in the Lowland League, which is level 5 as is the Highland League. We only get 2 comps and if we want more we need to pay for them. It's hard enough getting somebody to take the comps unless it's say Hearts v Hibs or the Old Filth.
  5. To be fair, these teams used to take a humping in Inverness long before we were in the 4th tier ;-)
  6. Been to Linfield, Ards and.... Ballinamallard
  7. We're doing one called Amarillo, don't know if you've heard of it, it's released tomorrow
  8. Well I knew RedCard was up to something but even more stunning than I expected. Give a Little Respeeect!
  9. Who's Grant Pringle then? 161 visits to TCS. Hats off to you
  10. Can only speculate that it was down to preferring McIntyre to Wright. Nah, uncle Roy's dosh
  11. I was trying to remember how that nickname came about, can you remind me Donview, or David Brent as a certain resident of Peebles once called you
  12. Why not make it in advance? After all the Treble scarves turned out to be a great bit of foresight for Celtic
  13. Great stuff. Well done Yogi. Now let's defy the manager's curse and secure 3rd and the Cup.
  14. I just meant ICT games Gringers.... You'll upset the Jeggies
  15. Disappointing to lose the equaliser but the Super J's probably deserved a point. We could have killed it off before that though. Ref Dallas completely spoiled the game. Booed by both sets of fans which sums it up. Strange one, Yogi still persisting with Marley up front and Eddie lying much deeper. Surely better the other way round or play them as a pair.
  16. Away games ?
  17. TBF Beastie, given that ICT have played about 1000 games, I was looking to unearth a couple of regulars who had been to about 600 or 700. I'm sure they exist somewhere. Mind you I suppose there are very few who go home and away, and have kept it going for 20 years. I remember the hard core who stood on the terraces in the lower leagues when we only had 'Caley, clap clap clap' and very few are still going. Many of the younger guys never got on board till about 2000. Right, thanks to this brilliant app, away games is a piece o pysh: Tynecastle 17 Falkirk 15 (including Brockville) St Mirren 15 (including Love St) Easter Road 14 Pittodrie would only be 15 even if you counted the home games and the semi final replay
  18. Ooh you bitch 110 before I even met you. And all the Pittodrie ones while you were in sulk mode
  19. And about half a dozen of them involved scrounging a bed at yours
  20. Not claiming to be anybody special but I thought it would appeal to the likes of Sneckboy I got this 'Groundhopper' app for the iPad and phone so I got my diaries out and filled it in back as far as 1994. I've seen ICT 382 times, 97 times at the TCS and 6 times at Telford St. Also 9 times as the home team at Pittodrie. First ever match was East Stirlingshire 0 CT 2, 9/8/94.
  21. A fresh start in English football with a side that came close to league two playoffs so foundations there What standard do you think league two football would be in Scottish leagues This is a question which we often ask ourselves in reverse. The present state of Scottish Football is dreadful and getting worse as the EPL and lower leagues get richer. As far as playing standards go I think the teams at the bottom of the SPL are as poor as English League 2. We have had players from League 2 who haven't been good enough and even some from Lge 1 who weren't. The real argument is about size of club. If Scottish clubs were able to access the same sponsorship as down south, I think we would have: 2 Premiership clubs (no prizes for guessing) 3 Championship clubs (Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen) Some lge 1 clubs (Dundee Utd, poss Motherwell, Dundee, Killie) Some lge 2 clubs (Ourselves, St Mirren, County, Falkirk, St Johnstone etc) It's distorted all to hell in this country which has too many clubs. The bigot brothers are far bigger clubs than the likes of Hull, etc who get into the Premiership and get more dosh just from telly than any of them can raise. But because the two of them are there, the rest of us just wither. However you could argue we reach a higher standard playing against the OF just as they always argue that their weak league holds them back. They also argue that the likes of Chelsea are not big clubs, they're just rich clubs. What was your question again
  22. ^^^^^^^ Bucketful of sense
  23. Coming from Midlothian. Just as important, actually coming at all. Had a good feeling about this away back in the winter so told Mrs Mantis I was keeping Cup Final day free and booked holidays to Iceland the day after.
  24. Nonsense. Can you substantiate this or is it just the usual hot air? What about starting with Montrose's record against non-League clubs in the Scottish Cup in recent years? I'm sure you'll find plenty of wallopings in double figures if your claim is worth anything.
