  1. Hearts away next tues at 2pm. Assuming they're still using Nitten for their home games?
  2. Very comprehensive win, Danny Williams was MoM for me. Left my phone behind in the stadium so thanks to the young apprentices who were in at 8.30 this morning so I could get the phone back and catch the train
  3. Keep the six inch ruler away from Willie Short, apparently he has issues.

    Collum

Refs do get demoted which has to be a good thing. There's a guy P*** H***** who handles the Lowland League who came down a level. Everybody says what a nice guy he is but he can single-handedly destroy a game which he turns into a card-fest. Our old pal Willie Young was observing at the recent Spartans-Whitehill game. LL refs get £55 + expenses at the moment whereas HL refs get £75 I think but maybe including expenses(?). I have to say Collum has handled Whitehill matches a couple of times and I've been impressed by the way he calms the players and talks to them all the time- you can hear it all when the crowd's only 150. Maybe that just shows how bad the rest are though, and how maybe he's out of his depth in the SPL. A couple of weeks ago I was at a fairly tame LL game in the East but the ref and assistants were from the glasgow area. They must have been used to the West Juniors, what an aggressive lot they were, swearing at the players if they questioned anything .
  5. Things are looking up though. They never got beat this week. Sorry, I mean they didn't get beaten this week
  6. No, really, you? On our treks north? You were warning? Honestly John, you were like a Trappist Monk on those drives... Shut it.
  7. Viccy Park used to be a good wee ground back in the day. When County won promotion to the SPL there was a load of hot air about what a fabby wee stadium it would be, but I was warning anybody that would listen that it would turn into a library once they got all those new seats.
  8. Give them a break a wee one goal Christmas pressie won't hurt us Yo Ho Ho ! May just be the goal that keeps them up....
  9. Just seen the highlights. Thought Scotty Boyd was possibly offside at their goal, standing right in front of Brill about 3 yds out. Possibly played onside by Shinnie but hard to tell.
  10. I fear that's our last visit to cabbagetown for a few years........
  11. Job done. 5 bookings to the cabbage men, 3 goals to (hackers) ICT. Just paid my annual visit to the parochial wee hate-fest that is OTB. They don't like us much do they
  12. Sorry I couldn't make it. Surely we get to keep them now?
  13. I see Yngwie likes your post. I think you two should get a room
  14. I'm sure Graham can expect a call from the Compliance Officer as an early Xmas pressie.
  15. Dodged a bullet - never knew this was on or I might have gone. Oh well Hamilton have dished out a few hammerings this season.......
  16. Just seen the highlights. Looks to me as if Stevenson came back from an offside position at the second goal so it shouldn't have stood?
  17. Having seen them lose at Bo'ness I would say yes. They don't look as if they have the heart for a battle against a side which is highly motivated...
  18. Nah, did you not hear Yngwie's into selfies?
  19. From the angle the ref was at, I wondered if he saw Billy's goal as coming off his head. It's only the shot from behind the goals that makes it a clear handball. They never mentioned it on Sportscene but I'm sure he would have disallowed it, intentional or otherwise, if he'd spotted it, to avoid any fallout.
  20. Never seen such a one-sided game. Meekings scored, even a blind man could see that
  21. They call it 'concessions' these days. Cheeky Kant.
  22. Also there seems no definition of 'typical prices' unless they mean for season ticket holders. Everybody knows the Scottish Premier is about £22 at the gate. The EPL appears very cheap in the table compared to what I've paid recently: £55 at the Etihad this season, last season £48 at Anfield and maybe £36 or so at Hull. Those were all behind the goals too.
  23. Not really sure what point the OP is making here. We all know that England, while not nearly good enough to make any impression on a major tournament, nevertheless have far stronger resources than ourselves to draw on, especially in a friendly where umpteen subs are allowed. So the point must be that the Daily Mail, aka Farage's Fanzine, still has one reader in Scotland?
  24. 25 scored out of 28. I'm pretty sure one of the keepers, Reidford, was on trial with us about 5 years ago. July 2009, beat Brechin 5-0. My liver has just about recovered, I'm sure you were there.
  25. Suarez then? Yes ICT Paisley, a good game. Andrews actually scored the final goal and there was about 7 mins stoppage time.
