  1. And add in Denis Law for an even bigger one
  2. Helmets
  3. Thomas Mueller = Legend
  4. Why don't they just make him wear a muzzle during games? Maybe he'll start humping legs
  5. Him with the Hugh Jarse?
  6. Gary Lineker. Oh dear.
  7. Any excuse to show this again (Scotty's the fat one):
  8. Nah, both. De Leeuw seemed ok though so 1 out of 6 or 7 is pretty good going for Decked Deek.
  9. FlyBe from Edinburgh 1000 returning at 1850
  10. You think Laurence is from Arabia?
  11. Let's hope it's Ivory Coast then. Defeating a film studio could be a very tall order
  12. You mean there are people out there who possibly would? Wow.
  13. Greece staking their claim for the 'most boring team' award.....
  14. Wait for it....... Sebo!
  15. One subtle difference DD. Scottish media aren't networked. If Scotland are playing you get your own commentators for the English regions. If England are playing we get Clive Tyldesley....... But yes, I think most of it is healthy banter and the hatred thing is exaggerated by media looking for a few idiots to provide a 'man bites dog' story. If there was as much anti-Englishness as the Daily Mail would have us believe, no English person would ever want to live here. I wish the England lads well, the same guys I watch on MOTD every week. But if Scotland aren't there, the emotional side is completely absent.
  16. The BBC have trumped that today with a real scoop. Hodgson has praised the squad's positive attitude in the three friendlies against Peru, Ecuador and Honduras. "We have been on the front foot in all of the games so far," said Hodgson. "Maybe Italy will make it harder for us but we don't know what a back foot looks like."
  17. I'm sure if he got a penalty he would just have stamped on the ball and burst it
  18. P&B was originally for the Midden was it not? Explains a lot
  19. Scotland haven't had many reds in friendlies either. In the last 30 years I think the only one was 1995, John Spencer in Japan (2 yellows in the 1st half, game ended 0-0). Prior to that it was Willie Johnston in Argentina 1977 (1-1) unless you class the British Championship as friendlies - Joe Jordan got one in a 2-0 defeat in Wales in 1981. In friendlies the ref's more likely to ask the coach to substitute the player....
  20. You never saw Tommy Gemmell then
  21. I had a quick look Laurence but can't find any bigots having a go at you personally. I see one or two questioning your views but nobody's calling anybody names, apart from yourself. I suggest you use the 'report' button in future for specific users, rather than just rant at all the users, aka 'you lot' .
  22. Moyes? Big drop in wages I spose but then he's earning feck all right now!
  23. He's a qualified PE teacher as well isn't he?
  24. Not another Marks & Spencer thread
