  1. Agree, I have seen nothing in recent weeks to cause me any concern if he want's to leave. Average winger and a below average centre-forward IMO. More important we try to keep Nick Ross and David Raven.
  2. If he is under Contract can we not put him on the Transfer List. Would hate to lose the opportunity of making some dosh. Never really hit the heights of the couple of months when he first arrived and was even looked at as a future N Ireland player. To be fair he seemed to play in a few positions not really settling in any. Always thought of him as a holding midfielder never as a wide player though. Can understand his frustrations at his limited appearances though.
  3. Absolutely spot on, his touch and vision to see a pass is his greatest assets. Not the most physical of players but brings so much to the team in other areas. Fully deserves a new contract and a regular starting place in his best position which I believe is just off the front man.
  4. We need to keep a dignified silence on this until after the outcome, the comments quoted above by JH do not help and only fuel the fires of injustice for Joan Collins & Co.
  5. Point 5 might be a tad harsh having been given only last 10 mins but how he gets the nod over Danny Williams is quite bemusing. Point 4 spot on ".....Nick Ross is a talent who is very underated and deserves an extended run playing through the middle not stuck out wide right or left. Also having a few doubts about how effective the combination of Tansey and Draper is at the moment. Both playing the holding role limits our threat going forward thought Josh was more of a threat when he carried the ball out of the defence.
  6. Not great viewing unfortunately to many touches , to slow build up with little cutting edge. Marley struggling in the lone striker role , looks a frustrated figure at the moment. Need some inspiration from somewhere before next week ,but from where .??
  7. FFS what happened to the expensive covers we purchased. Lose money playing on a TUesday night
  8. Possibly there is a case to look at the lower leagues in Scotland or or maybe find a hidden gem in the Highland League. Appreciate it is a massive step up but surely worth a gamble with minimal outlay. Other clubs have been successful taking this approach particularly, although I hate to say it Macnamara.
  9. Should have maybe changed things second half but who ? Squad down to the bare bones ...where is Foran that is well over 12 months out could really do with him for the run in
  10. Feck sake not ruthless enough , need that killer instinct from somewhere. Points dropped again from a commanding position.
  11. Pretty underwhelming stuff, why did we let Ross County dictate 2nd half never really put them under any pressure , sat too deep. Needed a 2nd goal but lacked any conviction going forward and seemed happy to sit at 1 nil. Tremarco did miss his tackle but seemed a straight forward catch for Esson ,he fecked it up. Unsure why Tansey pushed wide right and Nick Ross pushed wide left with Shinnie playing in central midfield .....Strange
  12. To make next to nothing in transfer fees over 20 odd years, is probably not our finest achievement when you see the players who have passed through the club. Who is Jim Mclean ? I was thinking more of the likes of Gauld, Roberston etc who have moved on after a couple of seasons, seems football can still be a productive business if you put your mind to it.
  13. Totally agree we get well and truly shafted every time. To me this is really short sightedness and horrendously bad management not protecting your prize assets. If we are to be taken seriously as a top six club this needs to be rectified now by the Chairman and the Board. It is unforgiveable that players like Graeme Shinnie, Don Cowie, Ian Black, Johhny Hayes, Adam Rooney etc can leave for feck all because our Board of Directors cannot manage contracts. How are we really ever going to progress when the rest of the SPFL see us as a soft touch.
  14. The problem i have is why sign now, this could have waited until June surely. The annoucement is bound to cause friction, regardless to what is reported. Aberdeen have certainly manipulated this in their favour using GS in the process to unsettle our dressing room.
  15. We now need a new captain starting from Saturday , step up Gary Warren.
  16. Need a new club captain for the rest of the season ,starting this Saturday
  17. I take it we will get nothing from Aberdeen then surely we must be entitled to something after the time invested in him bringing him through the ranks.
  18. Worst case scenario going to your rivals especially if he had options from down south, smacks of lack of ambition. To be honest leaves a bitter taste, how can we compete when your rivals take your players for nothing Why was this allowed to happen yet again.
  19. Shinnie's pass for Doran's second how good a pass was that. Worst County team I have seen for awhile tried constantly to disrupt the flow of the game niggling and fouling
  20. Can't agree more totally unacceptable the players that have come through without any return
  21. Gutless performance ,lucky to get away losing only 4 Absolutely no pass marks today except for maybe David Ravven
  22. Was compensation paid for Butcher and Co ? I would really like to think we conducted ourselves as a thriving, established top six club and not a wee diddy team from the Highlands lucky to be sitting at the same table as the mighty Hibernian.
  23. Nice one mate, Selhurst Park best support I have seen and heard for a long time, went a couple of seasons ago. Think it was the Holmesdale Fanatics who made all the noise behind the goal.
  24. Decent enough perfornce unlucky not to salvage a point thought Nick Ross could have done better with his effort at the end. Still think we play to narrow, trying to play through the middle we need a bit of variation, Aberdeen were happy to stand off us and watch us pass it about side to side. Thought Shinnie was excellent as usual, would really like to see him pushed further forward as his directness is something we should look to utilize more as an attacking option.
  25. Doran as a wing back you gotta be joking, couldn't tackle a fish supper. No change to last week other a lot more support to Billy.
