  1. Not before time. Released two strikers at Christmas and never replaced either of them.
  2. Push Shinnie further forward. His energy and directness on Wednesday was the hight spot of a pretty pedestrian performance. A bit more composure he could have won the game for us. Also to be fair, Tremarco is not the worst fullback I have seen.
  3. The point is even if he was going through on goal and the referee never whistled , would he have stopped and made a two yard sideways pass. Bearing in mind we do not want to be seen as being to direct.
  4. Total borefest, luckily less than 3000 home supporters had to suffer it.
  5. See Paddy McCourt has been released, possible move to Bury on the cards. One decent signing of quality could make all the difference to our season. Do we see ourselves as a bigger club than Bury, I hope so. Is he worth a gamble ?
  6. Go on, furnish us with a list of the things where we're lagging behind RC.....I'd far rather pull apart those points one by one than make a general "you're talking out your hat" comment. How very pompous you are, obviously some sort of authority on everything that is happening with the club. Anyway how about a four sided all seated ground for starters, last time i looked we had only three, go on 'pull that statement apart'.
  7. Face facts when it comes to marketing ictfc we are miles behind are competitors. We have barely made any inroads in infrastructue except two temporary stands and a portakabin for a clubshop. On the other hand what has been achieved on the field with such a small budget is testament to the managers, players and coaching staff. Personally I would like to see some cash made available to be spent on the infrastructure.
  8. Excellent article from a forward looking chairman. Agreed we seem to lag behind RC off the field & commercially.
  9. Permanent smile since Christmas then, give the guy a break FFS.
  10. Nick Ross offers something different to what has been proved lately to be a very pedestrian side. Agree not everybody's ideal player and can dissappear for periods of the game but still one of our most naturally talented players. For some reason he is the one left out after another dreadful team performance whereas equally inconsistent players such as Vincent, Doran etc are guaranteed starting slots. As for the bullshit about bulking up, what generation of football are you in?
  11. Forres Jags - another positive post??? Many managers throughout football make substitutions with minutes remaining to 'break up the game' and run down the clock. Especially when their team has several first team players missing through injury or suspension as was the case today. If you think Nick Ross's performance's of late have deserved a starting slot you are delusional. Having slept on it you are right his performance yesterday was poor, no killer passes, no shots on goal think Mr Hughes should halve his game time to 60 seconds next week. Good point though about running down the clock when we were in need of the three points more than the opposition genius.
  12. To me it showed disrespect to NIck Ross ,don't suppose Nick was to chuffed either. But this is life under John Hughes a threadbare squad and players being released without replacements brought in see Greenhalgh scored again
  13. That's irrelevant how he performed last week , to me to give somebody 120 seconds is a p*** take .
  14. Nick Ross deserves better than 2 minutes of injury time -to me that was an insult to the lad . Hughes really thinks he is something of a tactical genius but to me the sooner he does one the better, second half was appalling.
  15. Agree the board appointed JH they need to take a look at themselves , sold the club down the river when we were riding high and took what was the cheapest option. Surely he wasn't appointed on his CV the whole charade of taking a month to get the right person seems to look rather silly now.
  16. Surely if we are in a major slump now would be the time to refresh the team with the likes of Greenhalgh, Williams , Tremarco and Christie. These players deserve a chance when the usual suspects are under performing week in week out. Let's try and create competition for places no guarantees of a first team start One glaring feck up Hughes has to hold his hand up to was not replacing the two front players who left mid season, to go with one recognised striker for half a season is unthinkable. Surely funds were available from Butchers compensation.
  17. thomas23 why would you know anything about booking buses Perfectly reasonable question to ask
  18. Think they said at least 900 from Dundee makes it even worse less than 2000 home supporters where do we go from here? It was like a kickabout in the local park the atmosphere has been sucked out of the place what a contrast to the midweek cup game a couple of months ago
  19. As much as i like Nick Ross i have to ask has he got what it takes, he has a long run playing behind Billy but has yet to score from open play and overall his goals to games played is a joke. Really not suited to the role , thought he was better out wide more space to play and not get muscled out by the centre halfs. Him and Doran both need to get the hunger back and do not deserve first picks every week. Greenhalgh and Christie for me next week please. Terrible attendance again wtf is going on thought we had over 3000 season ticket holders where are they??
  20. Apologies if this has already been brought up , but any idea how much compo we got for three stooges Malpas,Marsella and the other one. Hopefully any funds will be ploughed back into the squad in Jan
  21. The time to bring on polworth and christie is now. Doran and Ross have not perfomed for weeks now , but to be fair to Nick playing in the supporting role to Mckay has not been successfull move for him. We are so one dimensional it is painful,
  22. Totally flat performance yet again. Hughes standing on the sides hand in pockets waiting and hoping for a spark but yet again nothing. This is unacceptable he needs to change things ,plainly obvious one up front is not working and hasnt for a while. Fffs please change it now before the season becomes a complete disaster
  23. An option in the middle of midfield would be josh meekings, he would be a ball winner and from what i have seen is pretty comfortable on the ball. The only drawback who would replace in him in the centre of defence. For me Liam Polworth deserves a run defo not williams seems to lighweight
  24. Terrible game of football. Created absolutely nothing lucky to come away with a point which looked very much the game plan. We really need a plan b if we are to keep progressing we are so predictable at times , the diagonal ball out of defence did not work at all with the only spark being when Greenhalgh came on for the last 20 mins. Billy Mackay looked a forlorn figure at times with absolutely no support wtf. Draper & Meekings not bad , Doran really needs to up his game, looks really low in confidence at the moment. A bit more positivity please.
  25. Strange choice having williams centre mid he was really lost at times, is he not a winger. Draper however was inspirational at times carried the game forward. Would like to see Polworth given a run in Richies abscence. Have to agree Doran has not performed in weeks needs a rest
