  1. If the board sack RF does that mean they are admitting to making a monumental balls up in awarding a 4 year contract to a former player with no managerial CV. Personally I hope Foran can turn it around, relegation would be an absolute disaster that we might struggle to recover from.
  2. The central core of the team have not been performing for months OFW, Warren, Tansey, Vigurs, Draper and to a lesser extent big Lons. These guys have been under no pressure for there places regardless on how they perform week in week out. I honestly thought the break and transfer window would have been good for us, bring in another midfield player to break up the play maybe another defender to put some pressure on Warren and co but no we bring in 3 centre forwards adding to the 2 we already have wtf is that about. Also going through the season with only 1 fit keeper who is not very good anyway is unforgiveable. If Esson is not fit to play then we should have looked to bring in a replacement at the expense of another centre forward.
  3. Personally I think the board gave the job to RF to save their own skins. Whatever the ins and outs with JH they should have had a contingency plan in place when they realised things were going sour. For some reason this didnt happen, in fact was the job advertised and any other applicants interviewed ? What was on RF managerial CV that impressed the board so much that they awarded him such a generous contract ? Being a 'Club Legend' is not grounds to taking on a managerial position. If that was the case Grant Munro had more of a shout to being appointed, he at least had a managerial CV.
  4. Should have declined to give radio Scotland interview fecking parasites trying to bring him down further. Not good listening .
  5. Time for Charlie Christie to pack in selling lottery tickets and step up to the plate.
  6. Bold move from Foran and lets hope it is a good move for both parties. Billy has had a pretty torrid time since he left, loaned out to a few clubs and losing his place in the Northern Ireland squad He has a lot to prove to get his career back on track and hitting double figures over the next 5 months will do him and us the world of good. As mentioned before we are going to have to change our game plan if he is to be a success.
  7. The unexpected windfall from Celtic away in the cup would generate extra funds. Another attacker though, would have to offload one at least during this window.
  8. Totally agree cannot see the point in sending the guy out on loan when we only have 5 fit defenders to choose from. Draper is a loss when removed from the midfield so putting him back at centre half is not an option. Time for Foran to give youth a chance, because at the moment his senior players are not performing.
  9. Seriously think Tansey will be away by Tuesday? If we can move him on for a transfer fee we should go for it, this would give Polworth the chance to develop into what I believe to be his best position .
  10. Have to agree under JH we made pretty triangles and took 5 touches when 2 would have done, but now we just batter it forward more in hope of a defensive error than creating anything ourselves. Good players seemed to have regressed playing in this direct system, some even look pretty disinterested.
  11. Hard to believe he was the only viable option I am sure at the time we were quite an attractive proposition coming off our most successful period. To me it was the easiest option for the board to make and the cheapest. If things go from bad to worse for us they need to carry the can and really need to answer some big questions like , How come they thought appointing a former player on a 4 year deal who has no managerial experience be a good move.
  12. Have to agree players start one week have a good game then don't figure again the next. Formations all over the place think Polworth spent most of today going from the left side to the right side and then back across to the left, how frustrated must he be .Mulraney on before Doran wtf is all that about. Foran at the moment cannot seem to inspire or motivate the team hope he can find something from somewhere and soon.
  13. Wise up man every game is a must win , we are in dire straits there is no doubt about it
  14. I cannot possibly comment on his attitude as I only see him Saturday if and when he plays, so please what has he done to earn this reputation ?
  15. Thought he did ok some of his link up play was pretty good, although seemed to drift out of the game for long periods. Think we still have not seen the best of him and will get better the more games he plays.
  16. Correct Barry Robson's love child you read me so well. So Boden was really only worth a 3 out of 10 absolutely laughable.
  17. Have to agree we were less than convincing on Saturday and would have liked to be out of sight before the Elgin lad squandered a great chance to equalise at the death. But the first win since October is more than welcome, but still short of a player or 2.
  18. It was a howler from OFW nothing to do do with who gave a free kick away.
  19. Still fully support RF, but we need more than nostalgia about how good a player and leader he was on the park, we need points on the board and quickly. Senior players need to take responsibility and show some leadership, it's not as if we have lost the core of the squad and had to replace them with youngsters's. 6 points from the next 2 league games and a convincing cup win tomorrow is achievable, which will kick start 2017.
  20. All very well talking up his playing career, but he needs to cut it in management. Lets hope he has learned from the 1st half of the season and can turn it around pretty quickly.
  21. Erm, not sure how dropping Draper further back in front of the back four can be seen as a positive when our most and only successful period of the season came when he was in an advanced role. We need a strong holding midfield player to break up play, Foran said it himself.
  22. No real change then from the one that has seen us hit rock bottom and shipping over 40 goals.
  23. Foran said himself he needs a holding midfield player to break up play, yet here we are 3 days before the season resumes having signed 2 more attacking options. Can only hope he is holding out for the right player, although adding 2 more front players must have reduced his finances somewhat.
