  1. Billy Starks CV looks like this: assistant manager at Celtic, manager at Greenock Morton, manager at St Johnstone, manager at Queens Park manager at youth/U21 level for Scotland No where near enough top level management in there for him to be a serious contender IMO
  2. Why is it in Inverness it always seems one step forward, two steps back Dont think the lifting of the curfew will be as straight forward as the Council lifting their rules. I would guess that any pub owner setting their own curfew would do so with a high risk that their customers would not be best impressed. Best way to change the minds of those owners who choose to use their own curfew is to vote with your feet. If a pub/club owner is imposing his/her own curfew then i'm sure there will be plenty pubs and clubs that wont that would be happy of the custom
  3. I see Co Adriaanse is being linked in the papers today, more than likely just idle speculation seeing as he is over in Scotland for a coaching seminar set up by his pal and SFA performance director Mark Wotte. Certainly a good manager in club football but very limited in international experience. Also has a bit of a reputation for unusual training methods. That said he is known for getting results from mediocre groups of players and prefers attacking football. Interesting name to be linked with, if they are considering a manager like this then id be surprised
  4. This idea has been given the go ahead http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/News/Cheers-Caley-Thistle-rivals-to-be-served-at-bar-06112012.htm
  5. The more I think about it #Forverinourshadow is the best
  6. Definitely agree that a simple slogan would be best Like the idea of #foreverinourshadows or something similar Would be great to wind up Del. Doesnt take much! 1st to admit i'm not great at ideas, so heres a few, some bad, some marginally better; RCFC - CTs B Team since 1994 RCFC, feeding of our scraps since 1994 RCFC - looking up at their neighbours since 1994 Does your farmer know your here? Remember remember the 5th of October! Pummeled! Hiya Del, enjoy 5/10/12? Hiya Deek, Hiya pal Terry loves the wine, Derek loves a fine! Terry loves the wine, Derek loves a whine! Who put the O and the Y in County Top six and your no! (Hopefully still the case in December)
  7. 3 all SPL ties which means a lot of the big teams will be exiting the competition at quite an early stage
  8. COUNTY!!!!!!!! IN Dungwall!!!!!
  9. Saw the pictures online earlier on but didn't know who's car it was great prank
  10. Hearing that the police may be opposing it Will post a link if i can find one Edited to add link: http://www.highland-news.co.uk/News/Police-oppose-Caley-Thistle-bid-to-serve-away-fans-in-stadium-bar-01112012.htm
  11. For the majority of away SPL fans i think it would be a great idea to boost the bars use however Celtic fans shouldn't be allowed near the place. 3 hours drinking buckfast on a bus and then getting into a bar at the ground would be a recipe for disaster!
  12. On paper Wallace, Shiels and Black would be the only players i'd take from their team. Would Wallace get a game ahead of Shinnie? on present form; no chance. Knowing what Blackie can bring to a team he may squeeze onto the team sheet ahead of OTJ but Draper is first name on the team sheet for me at the moment. Shiels vs McKay, another tough choice. Probably go for Shiels TBH

  14. St Mirren are the closest team to us in terms of quality so it has to be them.
  15. Anyone know if highlights are to be uploaded to youtube or SFL site? Highlights programme coming on soon perhaps?
  16. HT:1-1 FT:1-2 1st ICT: Draper 1st Opp: Sheils Crowd:32500
  17. HT: 1-0 FT: 2-2 1st ICT: McKay 1st Opp: Tade Crowd: 3712
  18. Short report in todays P&J:
  19. Played for our U20s yesterday in their 3-1 win over St Mirren. He's a Georgian U17 international midfielder but other than that know nothing else about him Anyone know any more info? Is he signed or on trial?
  20. HT: 0-1 FT: 1-3 1st ICT: Draper 1st Opp: McCalister Crowd: 3500
  21. Sounds like we are trying to extend the loan for Phillip Roberts From what i've seen he has shown quite a bit of potential and technical ability. Definitely has something to offer the team so am glad that we are trying to extend his loan http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/inverness/195492-arsenal-kid-philip-roberts-in-talks-over-extending-inverness-stay/
  22. Doubt that Smith would take the job and names like McCall and Coyle put the fear in me Personally i would love to see Moyes given the job but the chances of him giving up managing in the EPL are very slim I am of the opinion however that while a Scottish manager would be nice i do not feel that it is a necessity. I dont think many true Scotland fans would choose dismal football and a Scottish manager over a more competitive team with a foreign manager if he were able to resurrect our fortunes.
  23. Cant say im a fan of Graham but i think you may be right with Moyes. Whilst im sure many Scots would like to see him become boss he would more than likely stay in the EPL I think if Levein gets the heave ho, which he should have done games ago, then it'll be one of Messrs Strachan, McLeish or Dalgleish
  24. Im sure we could manage if we merged the SPL, SFA and SFL and cleared out all of the 'INSERT COLLECTIVE DEROGATORY TERM HERE' such as Doncaster!!
  25. Anyone reckon Davie Moyes would be any good as an international boss? Got a proven track record of getting the most out of 'inferior' players and very tactically astute. Could do a lot worse than him IMO
