Next Weeks Crowd
Yup thats what i think, thats why i wrote it in the previous post. :004: Ive seen opposition fans come onto this site before and claim to have busloads of fans coming up for the next game and rarely does it materialise. If i'm proven wrong then great, it means more money in the coffers!

Next Weeks Crowd
My guesstimate for the game is between 3000 and 3500 with no more than 200 falkirk supporters

Rankin and McBain switched positions late on in the second half but Rankin started in the centre with Mcbain out wide

North Tonight, UNFECKINBELIEVABLE
Whats Ian Durrant got to do with North tonight or ICT beating rangers? the comment about 'that tackle' making ian durrants career is ludicrous and in rather poor tatse if you ask me.

Black's Suspension
Quoted from the SFA Handbook: 3.7.2 On accumulating 18 penalty points in a League competition, a player will automatically incur a suspension for a number of matches, starting with one match for his first 18 penalty points, and increasing by one match for each successive 18 points accumulation, within a two season period. In effect, a player's record over the current season and the immediately preceding season will be taken into account. should add this too: 3.7.4 Any period of suspension incurred by a player as a result of his having accumulated 18 or more penalty points, shall commence on the 14th day following the date of the offence which resulted in the incurring of the suspension. The suspension shall apply until such time as the requisite number of matches have been completed by his club in the competition in which the suspension was incurred, in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 3.8. think that just about explains the suspension criteria

Weekly rant about scotsport
Ok i take on board that i have may exaggerated the extent of the coverage of european football but the crux of my argument remains. While on the point of exaggeration, the scotsport presenters last night i felt clearly showed a flair for exaggeration with their views on how the win at ibrox was almost solely down to poor rangers play rather than resolute Caley defending and a well deployed tactic. If these wanna be sports pundits can exaggerate to their hearts desire then why not Joe Punter having a rant on an internet forum?

Weekly rant about scotsport
I have been known to use ergo in the past. :004: There are dedicated champions league and UEFA Cup programmes for previews and european related stories so why fill a show supposedly there to air scottish football with european football? I dont mind enjoy watching european football and previews and the usual media hype and if it were shown on a general football show then fine however for me scotsport should be as its synopsis outlines - presenting highlights, coverage and views on scottish football!

Weekly rant about scotsport
Now someone correct me if i am speaking out of turn here but i am currently watching scotsport and am a little perturbed. As i sky subscriber i am able to see a synopsis of each programme thats on, scotsport is described as: Jim Delahunt presents full highlights coverage and all the latest news and views from the bank of scotland premier league. Where in that synopsis does it say the programme will feature constant reference to and previews of european football? I understand that the majority of viewers of scotsport will be old firm fans but first and foremost the programme should be about scottish football and not european football! Even the competition prize is tickets to a european game, mind you it makes a change from a premiership game! Dont even get me started on that Andy Walker and his continual central belt bias! Rant over. views?

The Better Result?
Ive gone for the Scotland game purely because ive always felt its within Caley's capabilities to beat rangers even at ibrox, where as i would have never thought Scotland could have beaten france home or away.

Get in. YYYEEESSSS!!!

Rangers Tactics
i dont think charlie will play that way just that i'd like him to play that way, rangers are pretty vulnerable just now and have an extremely dodgy defence which i think could crumble pretty easy. In the real world i think Charlie will stick to: Broonie Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Wilson Duncan/Hart Rankin McBain Dargo Bayne

England supporters have gone quiet....
16K a day!! thats shocking! just shows what a mess the FA are in I like the guy warnocks comments last night, went something along the lines of: i hate watching england, i never watch them, havent done for years, not cause i think they're under performing, i just dont think they have the ability ha ha :015:

Rangers Tactics
I think Rory doesnt have enough experience of starting SPL games against top quality opposition so i dont think Charlie will take that option however i would like to see a formation not too far from yours but with hart playing as an attacking midfielder and black or Duncan sitting deeper.
-
O'Riordon
Excellent player and could do a fantastic job for us but not a snowballs chance in **** that he would come up here unfortunately.

The Ref for Saturday is........
Nightmare, hopefully he isn't too bad!! anyone know what his stats are like this season?

Tactics For Dunfermline
Agree with you there, i reckon the following formation for Dunfermline could work: Brown Rossco Dods Munro Hastings Duncan Wilson Hart Rankin Bayne Dargo but think charlie will opt for a 4-4-2 with black making way for hart.
-
25th League Game in Charge
That is quite startling and makes you wonder why Charlie is getting such a hard time from the fans and media.
-
25th League Game in Charge
A surprising but impressive record, out of interest does anyone know how Charlie's home SPL record compares to his away?
- SHOULD CHARLIE GO?

Team v Killie
Some fair suggestions there, not sure if Rooney would make it into our team just now though :015:. what about this: Brown Caff Dodds Munro Morgan Hart Black Rankin Wilson Dargo Bayne
-
Important learning outcome!!
Indeed!! Learning Outcome 2: The long ball tactic isnt effective when our team doesnt have huge strikers.

ICT V FALKIRK 19-09-06
I wish i shared your optimism but having watched the performance last night its hard to see where the style or goals are gonna come from.

ICT V FALKIRK 19-09-06
Highly disappointing performance from the team tonight, we lacked any sort of creativity and continued to throw long balls foward for the whole game despite having absolutely no joy from this tactic, i am not a fan of the long ball tactic at the best of times but tonight it was wrongy chosen and provided nothing for our team but gave the falkirk defence a relatively easy time. The passing was atrocious and even a 5 yard pass to a team-mate in space rarely connected. Thought Hart did more in the short spell he was on than Keogh did in the whole game, that said Keogh didnt do much wrong just didnt have the creative spark we needed. Also thought Duncans passing was at best woeful, however he did make some good interceptions and important tackles. Collectively it was a poor performance and it needs to improve soon or we will be in trouble. Hopefully this poor spell we seem to be going through just now doesnt last and we can find our form once again.
