1. personally i wouldnt mind Robbo as DoF, knows the game, has played it at a high level and has contacts outwith the highland league in the game. whether viable or not i would love to see a manager from the following: Eric Black John Collins Ally McCoist Kevin Macdonald Ricky Srbagria (sp) Craig Brown (DoF maybes?) John Robertson (either the aston villa one or our former boss would be good IMO) with a coaching role for Barry Wilson too and Pele as a scout
2. a true ICT legend who has embodied the spirit, determination and fight that has got ICT to the upper echelons of Scottish football. i firmly believe we wouldnt not have had such a succesful history without you in the team so for that i give thanks. you have provided us with many, many highlights throughout your playing career in a blue and red strip and i certainly hope this is not the last we will see of you at TCS. I am also of the belief that you are worthy of another contract at least till the end of the season but as with a lot of management decisions these days i find myself in disagreement! i echo the sentiments posted earlier, haste ye back thanks and all the best
3. now thats a different kettle of fish altogether
4. unfortunately not. well not at the moment, which has just made me think why do i have an expensive HD telly if i cant watch HD content, hmmmmm, think ive just justified getting sky HD
5. going to try and catch it. has the potential of being a scorcher. SS1 yeah?
6. alright for some!
7. fair enough, can you tell i'm having a good day?
8. arguably "send us your DVD and we'll take a look" could be classed as as interest though. Again the fact that we may or may not be interested in the player is not what i was getting at. I was more pointing at at least were still looking!
9.

linky

The key word being " reportedly ". i think caleyd made his point fine but thanks for reminding me though i was getting more at the point about us actually looking at other players but it looks like its all been lost in semantics
10. maybe next years calendar will note the historical days in which we actually recorded 3 points at home this year, certainly momentus occasions! something like: January 1st - New Years Day January 25th - Robert Burns born on this day 1759 September 27th - on this day 2008 - ICT record a home victory!!
11. YES for me
12. spotted this on thon sultana website Rangers are reportedly looking at bringing a Drogheda United player on trial however it would appear that this player has had an offer from none other than Inverness!!! At least transfer targets are still being sounded out despite our failings on the park of late. linky
13. Libero

it would appear they have amended the article now, originally stated four figure sum and offered no breakdown.
14. Libero

Just read that we are to receive a FOUR figure sum for players involved in the Euros. anyone else suprised by how little this amount is compared to what we were led to believe we would be receiving at the time? story here
15. great post
16. remember seeing him in a cup game against us when he was playing for Dunfermline, hooked at half time cause he was that bad IIRC. Only seen him a couple times but never been hugely impressed. Mind you we've seen what can happen when ex-Aberdeen players with something to prove come to the TCS. Just look at Duncan and Wyness!
17. quote from pie and bovril: shocking if you ask me
18. Perhaps you fail to notice we have only gained 25 points from this year If the season ran from January to October, we'd be serious contenders for the drop. 2002/2003 - Motherwell finish bottom with 28 points 2003/2004 - Partick Thistle finish bottom with 26 points 2004/2005 - Dundee finish bottom with 33 points 2006/2007 - Dunfermline finish bottom with 32 points The simple fact is a season runs for 9 months. In 10 months we have amassed a whopping 25 points. How you can defend Brewster is astounding... I knew things werent good but that is amazing
19. ----------------------------ESSON (GK)---------------------------- PROCTOR (RB)-------------------DUFF (CB)---------MUNRO (CB) -------------MCBAIN (LB) COWIE (RIGHT MIDFIELD)------BLACK (CM)------DUNCAN (CM)-----IMRIE (LEFT MIDFIELD) -----------------------------------ROONEY (STR)-------------BARROWMAN (STR)-------------- I think the someones been getting the tactics mixed up on the blackboard in the changing room therefore ive highlighted where our wide midfielders invariably play best!

Proctor

personally i was amazed to see proctor start and i dont think he can be held entirely responsible for his performance. to have been out for so long and be thrown in at the deep end like he was is a crazy thing to do especially with Duff putting in some impressive displays of late. he wasnt ready to to start and i dont think too many others on here would disagree, personally i think Brewster should have put his hands up and admitted his mistake there but not much chance of that.
21. dont think ive even seen such a level of lack of support for a manager of ICT. Its going to be interesting to see what the board do about the current situation. Personally i think its going to be one heck of a job getting us out of this position and i dont know whether Brew is the man, Interesting times lies ahead.....
22. We can't keep going with the attitude of "We're due some luck", "We've always got the next game", "We didn't have the rub of the green", "We've some home games coming up", etc, etc, etc. It's this head in the sand attitude which is another of our problems. Look at the stats. We are in a bad way and something needs done. Quickly. One win papering over the cracks will probably do more long-term damage than good. I'll be at Easter Rd. on Saturday but I'm (very) sad to say I won't be disappointed if we lose - if more loses are what it takes for some action to happen then so be it. Sad days indeed. it pains me to say it but i agree
23. i certainly cant see 4 or 5 signings coming in and by the sounds of press reports a few weeks ago it sounds like Brewsters priority was for an midfielder to replace Paatalinen. i think its been clear for a while that our squad requires strenghtening but Brewster has yet to address it, we have been crying out for a big strong centre half since Dods left but nothing has been done about it. Also we need an experienced forward to help Rooney and Barrowman acclimatise to the SPL, heres hopeing this issue is adressed somewhat sooner! if our leaky defence isnt fixed soon we could well be in trouble!
24. how come Morton can arrange a closed door friendly and we cant? Especially with our reserve game being cancelled this week, a closed door friendly would give our reservs/U19s/fringe players a run out and would also allow our own coaching staff to assess him. Not rocket science!
25. so hard to choose but either: super mario 3 on the NES or Goldeneye on the N64 or GTA IV on the PS3
