  1. It was originally put up infront of the Renualt Motors sign at the back of secxtion G but was later moved to the back of section H due to there being no advertisement boards there. If the flag wasn't blocking any advertising boards then I don't see the reason for it being removed? Especially seeing as there were at least 3 away flags hung in the back of the south stand?
  2. Haha, that was a heart felt rage! It was very inapropriate, yes but was just a laugh. However, I am a Caley fan. I have been a season ticket holder for 10 years and go to loads of away games and have spent alot of money following the club. Just because I like to join in with some controversial songs and have a laugh when I am pissed does not take that away from me. A laugh ?? It is now an arrestable offence to sing such bile !
  3. Where was the flag put up?
  4. Aye she's been coming to the ground for years with the cameras and she is a bit of a babe !
  5. We deserved at least a draw......but, as is always the case, if you don't take yer chances against the OF then you don't take anything from the game! Apart from the first 20 mins of the second half celtic were awful and were there to be beaten.
  6. Barrowman a doubt But Black & Duncan 'fully fit' Fraser Tokely, McGuire, Munro, Hastings Wilson, Black, Duncan, McBain, Imrie Shocka I'd like to see Wilson start. He'll not last the full 90 but Cowie can replace him. Hopefully by the time celtic play manyoo on Tuesday night, they'll be sick o' the name Rooney !!!
  7. Fixed it for ya CD ! :thumb04: ;)
  8. Paper Boy, Chuckie Egg, Elite, ..... All on the Acorn Electron !! :thumb04: Sonic, Fifa, PGA Tour Golf,.......After upgrading to the Mega Drive. GTA IV, Fifa, Tiger Woods, COD3 & 4,.......now onto the PS3 !
  9. I've copies of the Jags fanzines and I did think about putting them on ma site as they're hilarious, but, even though they're firmly tongue in cheek, I feart that posting them could be libelous ? In any case I don't have the editors permission!
  10. Millburn Academy Aye those buildings will soon be history. A new school is built on what was the playing fields and the existing school is to be demolished to make new playing fields !!
  11. As a former pupil, I took the opportunity to have a final look around the school last night as part of a 'nostalgia tour', before the demolition of it begins in a few weeks time. Quite a surreal experience, seeing as I haven't set foot in the place since the day I left nearly 20 years ago! Evoked memories I didn't even know I had! Thing that got me was it smelt exactly the same, sounds weird but each floor of Millburn had a different smell, tech dept, science dept, etc and that hasn't changed!! Had a peak into some of my old classrooms too and, apart from a change in colour, it was like a timewarp. They also had team photographs from bygone years on display. Funny how you can still put a name to a face you haven't seen for 20 years ! :o Or am I just getting old ? :thumb04:
  12. Worst by a LONG way must be McEwans Lager !!!:thumb04: My mate once won 10 cases of it in a competition and he couldn't even give it away. Best would probably Corona or Peroni. Nothing wrong with Tennents either !!
  13. Before my time but... Juppy Mitchell, Rod Clyne .... This thread's been a good excuse to get all the old memorabilia out for a viewing again !!!
  14. Billy Sanderson, Ian Polworth, Martin Bell, Derek Wright, Martin Murphy, ....
  15. Mike Andrew, Mike Noble, Colin Mitchell, Peter Corbett, ....to name but a few off the top o ma head.
  16. So are you saying that the demise of caley gave caley fans the perfect opportunity to ditch local football and go and watch the team they really supported ? This Jaggie, along with 4 others, was also inside McDiarmid Park that night. So it really it was an Inverness support...not caley !! :thumb04: I was also at Hampden for the semi finals and can confirm that there were at least 5-6000 ICT following for each. Not to mention the crowd at Parkhead which must have been 4-5000 !
  17. Saturday nights was: 8pm bus into town. Dempsters Berties Rock Garden Phoenix Academy Carriages Relax Finlays Tarry Isle G's cafe bar G's Leave G's at 12.45am and get to the Gullistan for food before it closed at 1am Back to G's for night bus home!
  18. Restless Natives...what a film, love that movie. my top five: Donnie Darko Braveheart Gladiator The Green Mile Lord of the Rings Trilogy Restless Natives Awesome soundtrack to this movie. Was anyone on here present at the filming.......there's a couple o' hibees about 1min.50 secs in !!
  19. 1.Pulp Fiction 2.Star Wars 3.Empire Strikes Back 4.Return of the Jedi 5.Restless Natives 6.Braveheart 7.Kill Bill
  20. Black, Barrowman, Vigurs. Black stood out again...so 5 points. Gave Barrowman 3 points. I've criticised him on here previously for having a poor first touch and being a bit slow. Saturday it looked like the ball was glued to his foot and his movement for the penalty was superb! Definitely the best I've seen him perform ...so far. Vigurs can see a pass and the one in the first half which released (Hastings or Imrie can't remeber which) was class.
  21. Surely if the stewards were to eject Poles with flags from the stadium then that would be a racism issue for which the steward could then be arrested ?
  22. No PMS !!!.....Fantastic news. If only someone would tell the wife !!!
  23. I can't see the ghosties going, not at that prices !!
  24. The Stone Roses - 'The Stone Roses' Some folk mentioned Oasis - 'What's the Story'. I much preferred 'Definitely Maybe' and I don't think anything Oasis have done since has come anywhere near close to matching it! Simple Minds - 'Once Upon a Time'....another classic. Big Country - 'The Crossing'. The View - 'Hats off to the Buskers' The Smiths - 'Rank'
  25. I find that the air-cushioned sole, sure grip, and strong metatarsal protection of these beauties does the job perfectly on hard artificial surfaces !
