My "English Team" is in a right mess!

As i have said...ONLY those on DLA can claim the concession. ONLY those with Disabilities get DLA. So, it should only be "genuine" people getting the concession. Why shouldnt I make use of the concession? Unlike the majority of the ICT support, I had been regurarly financially contributing to Inverness football since late 70s, right up until we made it into the SPL, which coincided with a change in my circumstance, although my health issues are life long! I chose not to take the offer up while we were in the SPL, as i had lost my appetite for football (along with life in general). So i feel like trying to inject a little excitement into my life again, through football, so I intend to make use of the concession, for two reasons: 1: I qualify for it 2: Financially, I cant really afford to pay at the gate coz of my low income

Im afraid i dont share the enthusiasm about the guy based on todays show. he cant cross...head a ball....or read the game. I know theres gonna be some who say he is young etc etc....but if your good enough, your young enough

Well, i agree. I thought we were all to be treated as equals in this country. We are always hearing about how disabled people want to be treated as equals

Playing Devils advocate here...but why should people with a disability and on DLA get FREE entry (for two people) instead of just a reduced price? I would be curious to hear the reasoning behind it. (bearing in mind, i qualify for it)

^Im not about to dispute that Stevie. As you probably know, today was my first look at Zadi. I wasnt expecting much, and i was proven right, BUT he was one of a small band that can say they at least tried today.

I thought that Zadi didnt do much wrong today. He and Cox and Foran were about the only ones i thought can say got pass marks. Then again....it was only Montrose, so he should be coasting through such games anyhoo.

You could have a full time, professional carer, but unless you recieve DLA, you wouldnt be entitled to the free entry.

Just to clarify.....you can be in reciept of DLA.....be in a vegatitive state in a wheelchair, but unless you have a "carer", you do NOT get in for free. Basically, I have to pretend to need a carer to be able to make use of the scheme, despite being in receipt of DLA. Conversley, you could be Steven Hawking, and unless you get DLA, you wont be acceptable for the scheme.

What i feel is unfair is that unemployed people dont get any concessions. Lets be honest, those on jobseekers allowance are REALLY on the bare minimum. Disabled people usually are among the most financially better off from the benefits system, as they can claim benefits X,Y and Z. ICT are probably going to have approx 5000 empty seats for about 16 home league games of the season. Even if they let unemployed people in for ?5, its better to get that extra fiver than ?0. And am sure there are plenty of people who arent working who would like to be able to go, but just cant budget for it at the current price.

Absolutely fair summation of the game today. It was like watching the second team today. Cox i thought put in a decent shift (one of the few). The other signings look pish! I thought that was the weakest ever right side to the team we have ever had. The boy Ross was way out of his depth today. Stratford aint no right back and i do NOT rate Tokely as a centre Half. We are going nowhere if todays show was anything to go by. As usual, there was absolutely NO service to the front two today. we severly lack craft, guile and dig in midfield. Final Thought......the majority of that team today looked too lightweight to deal with Div I

I dont need a straight Jacket. Id just demand they men in white coats heavily sedate me before games. its all good tho, as it means i wouldnt suffer too much watching the dire footbal being served up :022:

ICT run a scheme where, If you are in receipt of DLA (Disability Living Allowance) and need/can arrange a "carer" to attend with you, BOTH parties will gain free entry to league games! You have to sit in a designated area in the North Stand (not the best seats). It applies to Mental as well as Physical disabilities. I actually qualify for it (being a loony toon :022: ) but havent really ever used it. Mainly coz i cant find anyone willing to sit in that area with me (despite it being free!) because they would feel uncomfortable in that section I was actually gonna see if anyone on here was up for free entry to games with me, but thought it seemed a lil bit depserate!

Boo Hiss Boo to asda No Sooner do they get permission to build their store, than they go back on their promise to spend the ?1.5M to ease congestion at the Inshes roundabout. A pretty low blow if you ask me. Apparently, Scottish Ministers have said Highland Council have no legal right to force Asda to fund this....so Asda have done a u-turn. And...they have hinted at the possibility of another store in Inverness in time, subject to approval

Slackbuie isnt far from The Fairways (driving range/golf course) RiG. Or...if not familiar with that...think not far from Invss Royal Academy. I seem to remember hearing a few years back that Sainsburys were looking at building a store near the Smithon Roundabout area on A96. Anyone ever hear the same?

james Rule! But Alas maimie, i heard a wee rumour that any acts that play T-In The Park, have to sign a contract stating they wont play any other festivals in Scotland. And James played main stage again at T a few weeks back. Not sure if rumour is true tho

Am the opposite George. I am sober all weekend. Mainly coz my mate doesnt drink, so not gonna start beers on my own. And being honest...am not drinking much these days, so would probably be back and fore to the bog and miss half the festival.

Aye George...The Dangleberries are always good craic. We normally catch them at the big tree about 6 ish, a while after their main stage appearance. I think they usually hang about and take in the whole festival
