You can be sure of the cash we recieve, the board will want to claw back any sum paid in wages to Maruis last season, to put the ship back on an even keel. So that will be a fair chunk of the money gone straight away.

While it would have been nice to have scored a victory over the unwashed (am hoping this couldnt be perceived as a racist slur alex!!) I dont use pre season form as an indicator to the season ahead. I wouldnt be worrying just yet!

As good a player as Marius is or isnt....the bottom line is, we we showed no sign of progression up the league despite his presence last season. On that basis, ad take any reasonable sum and run.
