  1. Are you being serious TCF? :024:
  2. He did say that there WAS more than money to take into account. He sed there is little point moving unless to take a step up. He said he could move club and find himself battling relegation, and he doesnt fancy that. I think he will stay
  3. I agree Clacher....i think they will be saved yet again...but how many times can this happen? I have a soft spot for Clach, even toyed with going to lend some support (but not sure i could handle the drop in standard)
  4. Just for the record....I have no problem with it. I know Butcher has become attachced to Scotland in his time here
  5. I dont recall ICT getting bailed out by CGF to any great degree (thats not to say it hasnt happened!). As far as Tullochs or any other business's financial input to ICT....thats simply because there was something in it for them! At the end of the day, if a Tullochs type comes along and ploughs cash into Clach....fair enuff, but methinks its a matter of time till they are in same situation again. Point being....maybe Clach are in the position they are coz simply not enuff people are intrested when all is said and done. If thats the case....maybe its time to call it a day!
  6. Serioulsy tho........should the club be baled out yet again? The saying frying pans and fire springs to mind here. If it was a business, it would probably be forced to close
  7. So...its the Common Good Fund that owns Clach Park. They should sell it and have more fireworks :021::blah01:
  8. Havent they had a number of lifelines thrown their way over last 10 yrs? Didnt ICT bale them out aswell yrs back?
  9. Apparently, looks like Tery Butcher is Burleys choice as Asst Manager. Everyone happy wi that?
  10. I hope they dont up Tokelys offer and use the money saved to secure the services of Duncan
  11. So.......passing isnt the strongest part of his game. His game is based on breaking up play....which he is very good at. Its not a position that will get you noticed so he often gets overlooked
  12. They should make a point of keeping him. He is an unsung hero who does an unglamarous job very well
  13. But......you can be boring AND effective!
  14. The pitch wasnt looking too clever last night on tv, but surley they can get it in shape for sat
  15. Join the club mate! I think that's why my passion for footie these days isn't as high as it was in the past
  16. Changed days now tho TCF. Exciting attacking football seems to be consigned to the history books pretty much. Teams nowadays seem to be more intrested in NOT loosing goals than scoring
  17. Thats the very reason behind this question
  18. if you want to play 3 in midfield....you NEED Russell Duncan in there to break play up. Also.....that formation is not likely to happen!
  19. This season, both halves of the OF havent had things all their own way. Why do you think this is? In my opinion.....i think both are poor teams compared to days gone by, more than it being down to the rest of the teams closing the gap!
  20. I think there a few others who have played their part and should look to be moved on to pastures new. Tokely and Mcbain being among them with Barry Wilson being moved on to a full time coaching role.
  21. Another thing is.........when word gets out among OF fans that you can sit in away end... will lead to more and more of them doing it!
  22. Hows about calling it........Return of the singing section pt II (revenge of the killer tomatoes)
  23. I wasnt knocking the idea.!! Am all in favour of superfans. Just sounds like a name from the 80's heyday of soccer casuals
  24. Maybe am an old fart....but.......any collection of fans giving themselves a label like "ultras" or whatever conjures connotations of hooliganism and trouble to me :024:
  25. Do some bloody work then ya skiving git :blah01: :blah01: :015:
