I was listening to MFR for the footie, when an ad break commenced. An ad coame on that i thought it said, details will be coming up about a new discount Taxi service coming to Inverness. Did i hear right? Anyone know anything about this?

REALLY REALLY wanted to get to this game. I used to LOVE playing Elgin Sh1tty in old Highland league days. Was always a highlight of the season. Would have been so good to have relived the glory days. more i think about it...more im gutted im not there.....

I think with Hodgson at Fulham, it was another case of an individual being suited to a Club. This would be my warning to Rooney, in case hes planning meandering off to pastures new. Sometimes its best to stick to what you know, especially if things are going good for you

Im pretty gutted about not making it along to this one.In fact....id much rather have made it along to this game than any League game. Ah well, it canna be helped. As per usual....my kids come first. Does anyone know if this game is on MFR or anywhere?

I have been trying to track down a copy of Rod Clyne's In a Different League. My dad used to have it, and i have got it into my head that Caley in the HL days, back in the 50s and 60s used to get a bigger attendance than ICT do in the SPL. IM sure there are quite a lot of mentions of times when Caley would get 6000-7000 against the likes of Lossiemouth etc and against Clach, even more. Id be curious to see if i recall correctly. Must be 20 yrs since i last saw the book.

I beg to differ. Apart from the fact that i have my kids most weekends ICT are at home, even when they arent staying with me....due to my low income, I find it difficult to find the money to get in to the games (beggars cant be choosers, so this would have to be the cheapest part of the ground) Then....on top of that, there is the costs of getting into town and back, then the costs of getting to the ground and back. all things considered...its very rare that i can actually finacially justify going to games. I often wonder how many others are in the same situation as me

Whats the deal with Matchdays in the Sociaal Club? Can anyone go in and have a beer etc. The reason i ask is...im planning taking my boy to his first game soon, and getting a bus form the social club before and after the game would be ideal for his mum to drop him off to me and collect him after. How much is the bus?

Terry and Mo have done an eXCELLENT job since they have come here.....if only we could get our home form sorted. At the start of this season, i sed, come the end of the season, 11th place or higher would do me. I stand by that. as long as we stay up, then i view it as a sucsessful season. A wee Scottish Cup run would be a bonus

The kids from the gaelic school would likely have spelt it INCONSISTENCIES! Are you insinuating that i am inferior to them Alex. Thats racist that is!

I see that it is expected the number of Gaelic speakers is set to fall even further in this years Census. But its ok...lets throw EVEN more money at it, coz campaingners expect it to recover.....which....completely flies in the face of the FACT that the language has been in steady decline for the last 150 years. Its time to stop flogging dead horses!

neither can i.....not one bit! To me its like they are just assuming by shrinking the league to 10 teams will make it more appealing and a more lucrative proposition. Ad like to see some hard evidence that supports their assumptions. What is the REAL aim of this? To Line the pockets of the top ten teams? To make Scottish Football more competitive? To get punters thro the door?

I cant see why this increase will make much difference to the price of drink. For example...on something costing £100....the additional cost will be arond £2.12. So...unless people are getting greedy and putting their own magins up, on top of the VAT increase...it shouldnt make a huge difference. Al tell you what tho..TESCO are very good at lobbing up price, sometimes by as much as 10% per item, in one go....as i have witnessed. Thats Shocking....but...as is the case with everything in this country...we just sit back and let it happen

Well...i hope the selfish **** of a driver suffers huge guilt coz of this. A poor person lost their life coz of his selfishness. In my last job, if someone came in in the middle of my dinner break....ad get of my ass and deal with them. In fact....we didnt get breaks as such, more grabbed a cuppa and a bite to eat when we could. PS....that was in the high pressure world of the lesuire industry!

Starting without Duncan weakens the team, starting with Odihambo weakens the team even more! Saw this coming. Personally...im glad...its a monkey off our back. It had to happen sometime

To be fair...he hasnt really had much opportunity to shine. I think without Duncan...regardless of how he is apparently playing, we are a weaker team
