  2. me thnks you could be right :D Oh Dear Oh Dear Lets all Laff @ Mcghee and co lol QUALITY I particuarly enjoyed the Mcghee quote that...."The score does not reflect the way the game went". Oh yes it does you muppet....they scored 3 times...aberdeen scored once. He seldom will admit the Dons were outplayed. Wat a plank he has become!

Jiminez is apparently going to win.......................according to Paul the Octopus!
  5. I see Hereford have Signed Stratford on a one year deal today
  6. Shouldnt any semi decent player look good against Clach? I mean...the HL standard now is probably about the same as Inverness Amateur League about 10-15 yrs ago. Ad rather see these guys play well against the tougher pre season opponents coming up, before i call for any signings. But i have an incling that Mackay-Stephen could prove to be a shrewd signing.
  7. Whats the odds that he is crap at footie tho
  8. No takers yet, you only have until the end of today to reply so i can PM you when i am online in here at around 11pm or Midnight. I'm not surprised you aint had "No takers yet" , you make it sound like it would be an honour for someone to go out of their way to text you any updates !!! For once.....am with DC on this!

Yeah...yet......it always puzzled me why....yrs ago....Scotland Under 21s etc always used to do really well at major tourneys, yet...it never seemed to follow thro to the full team. Weird!!

Cant say i know much about Tuffey....other than i know there are a lot of ICT fans who will be delighted at his arrival, as they rate him highly. Will look forward to seeing him in action. Welcome onboard Tuffey!! Sounds like a bit of a coup getting him to sign. Well Done Terry and Co
  12. Thought some of you may be interested in the Documentary about Diego Maradonna on More 4 tonight at 10pm. looks quite intresting, as are most of these docs that the channel shows
  13. I thought Bayne played his role for ICT Excellently. He was an superb foil for our striker and would rough up defenders. A really good target man. Shame to read things have taken a turn for the worse. Hope he makes a full recovey and i wish him all the best
  14. In my opinion....he wasnt up to much.....and was pretty annonymous any time he played for us. He seemed to be there just to make up the numbers most of the time. I think we played him at right back for a couple fo games too. He can put in a decent dead ball tho IIRC.
  15. I was wondering this myself....they have won it something like 3 times previously. Pretty amazing feat!
  16. 8 to 10 in the State Pen for Coxy!!
  17. Hello there antwerpgirl. You could go to visit Loch Ness on one of the boats...see if you can see the monster...or there is another boat trip you could go on to see the dolphins. Thats all i can think of for now.

Them deals arent really that big when you consider 35 Million dollars over 5 yrs....only equates to about ?4.5M per year, which is a lot less than the top Premiership players are getting. In saying that....ad happily take 1/4 that wage....but yeah....when all is sed and done, when you take everything into consideration....it is a ludicrous amount to pay someone to play a sport. Id say more like ?500 000 a year, is more than enuff for ANY individual to live on. If they cant...let them sample the real world, and discover life earning an average wage being a plumber or something.
  19. I have followed The Blackstars throughout this competition and the last one, and hoped that they would make the semi, and whilst the best African team at the tourney, were probably pushing their luck. The draw had been kind to them with Uruguay and if they were going to progress this was their chance. I too think the Uruguayan acted instinctively, (just as a striker does when heading a corner for example) but that excuses nothing. As the Uruguay coach said, he broke the rules, he paid the penalty, but we did not make Gyan miss the kick. tbh I suspected a lot worse from the U's due to a lot of previous cheating. I thought about Rooney, when Gyan stepped up for his shoot out kick; Adam did someting the same recently - was it against Partick - where he missed one then slotted in the other soon after. The problem penalty wise was Mensah, who looked sluggish the whole game, and the young lad who took the last one. You would be hard pushed to find two worse penaltys. Ghanaians, and Africans in general, do not do "pressure". Anyone who has waited in a post office queue for the clerk to finish their nap, will know about that. But things are changing, as the raw talent and enthusiasm, of which there is an anormous amount, gets taken up by European sides. They will continue to fourish, though gradually, but the Blackstars caught the imagination and later sympathy, of the world. I feel pretty gutted for the Ghanians. They were CHEATED out of their place in the semis. Even a Penalty kick was no compensation, as, as it was proved, penalties are missable......their shot which was handled on the line was a dead cert GOAL!
  20. Don't worry .................... you ARE wrong. (Barrowman moved to the SPL from a Second Division side - other recent top scorers in Division 2 have included Prunty and Mcallister - and he is also a prize bell end. Rooney is class and has gained a lot of strength over the past year. To try to compare the two players is plain daft.) Rooney will set the SPL alight this season - and will make the Republic Team before too long. Ah well....thats that decided then! I am convinced after your indepth, scientific synopsis, and am now EXPECTING at least 20 goals from Rooney now.....like many others on here! No pressure Adam!
  21. Someone once posted this strip..but with the ICT badge etc on it....is that pic still floating about. It looked really smart
  22. Im sure i heard, several seasons ago, that in Chelsea's case, matchday revenues only accounted for something like 40% of the wage bill. Thats flipping scary!
  23. I cant actually think of one..so called "star" who has upped their value (nor come to think of it...lived up to their value) in this world cup. That sed...ad still love to see a Ronaldo or Wayne Rooney in an ICT shirt!
  24. Would that ever work in the UEFA kingdom, or do you think the game is beyond salvation here? I think it would make for a more exciting product for the fans. In saying that....its always that bit more satisfying putting one over the big money teams, be it Old Firm....or Dundee or whoever. As ICT have proven over the years...you dont need money to buy you team spirit and determination.
  25. ^Yarp....Looks like the German machine could be back to its best. The ominous thing for other teams is, the core of it is a pretty young team and has a few yrs to develop before the next major championship.
