  1. I would call losing 6 out of 10 home games this season a bad run!
  2. Are players totally blameless in this? I mean...they know the rules...they are aware if they are under contract. At the same time...yeah the club should be pulled up for breaking the rules too!
  3. I saw this coming. Its just typical of ICT to fall flat in the games they should be taking points. Am not too worried, and to be honest...i think it will do us good, and bring the team down to earth and remind them that theres more to this league than just raising your game against the top teams. Still....all in all....the good games against OF etc mean nothing if you cant take points from the "lesser" teams
  4. Hmmmmm he could command a far bigger wage for himself by not siging on...thus, saving any team intrested in signing him from splashing out on a trasfer fee...in turn, freeing up money to provide a more lucrative signing on deal for himself

    Disgrace

Intresting JB....thats not the article i read....but it raises the same points i do basically. We are told Gaelic is thriving etc all the time by the Gaelic Mafia...fine then...let it support itself!
  6. In a time when Highland council is to cut 70-80 teaching posts through the region, i was annoyed to read that Highland Council Taxpayers have been footing the bill of sending 27 pupils to the Gaelic School via taxi. This has cost £120 000. The Council has been paying for pupils from as far afield as Black Isle to get to and fro the school. Now...why is it, when the rest of the country suffers cuts, the Gaelic self preservation society contiinues to get money thrown at it left right and centre? If parents want to send their children to schools, they should cover the bill of getting the kids there! The langauage is dying on its arse...thats a fact....talk about flogging a dead horse!
  7. I remember The Hooter going off every day at 1-30 at AI Welders. Could hear it almost all over the town in them days. The Old Rose street, now All gone pretty much Orange Council Vehicles Highland Omnibus The Gift Shop on its own wee island,Between the Ice Rink and what used to be the Bught Chippy (now the Florians Theatre extension) The distilliries down Telford Street way.

    BBC disgrace

I was actually going to mention this earlier, for the very same reason. Al wager that if either half of the Old Firm had played, it would have been shown. Match Of The Day ran on saturday night with just two games to show, none ivolving any of the big teams
  9. You make a compelling and TOTALLY unbiased comparrison CaleyMad I got the ps3 here....and due to buying my oldest the XBOX 360 slim for his xmas, even tho theres nothing wrong with his old Xbox360, but its what he wants.....anyhoo....i am about to inherit his old Xbox 360. I have to admit to being a bit of a playstation fan, having owned all versions of the platform they have released. My oldest, who is quite the critic of all things gaming, says that the ps3 has the better capability, but he prefers the Xbox. I cant see much difference to be honest, other than the xbox is about £100 cheaper, and that on rare occasion, some games are restricted to one platform or the other. But as Scotty says, you get an in built Blu Ray player included with the ps3. All in all....if its simply for gaming alone.....despite being a Playstation fan, i dont see the point paying an extra £100 on the PS3. then again....the red ring of death does seem to haunt the xbox, so mibees, for the sake of longevity and reliability, PS3 is the way to go....yes...yes...am sure thats my answer
  10. It will be just like us to lose our amazing away record to one of the lesser teams. Lets be honest, the run cant go on forever, it has to end sometime
  11. Me too TUG....i thought we might come a cropper today. It is going to happen one day, its inevitable, it was just nice to go a whole calander year, then the whole of 2010 unbeaten. That will do me. PS>.....I think going 2 yrs is a tad optimistic
  12. Hot on the heels of a whole year unbeaten on the road, we will now go down in history as having been unbeaten away in the whole of 2010. What can you say....well done Terry, Mo and the lads :ictscarf: :clapping:
  13. WOW>......we held on for dear life there. Fantastic result...all things considered. That means ICT have gone all of 2010 without being beaten away from home!
  14. EXACTLY!! thats why i tend to not be too arsh when it comes to refs. How many times have you watched match Of The Day and seen the panel watch an incident, with every angle concievable available to them, for them to turn round and say...well....it looks like a foul from this angle, but when you see it from a different angle....... And they often get a few moments to dwell on an incident. refs dont have that luxury. So....i do get p1ssed off at refs at the time of a bad decision, but i dont carry grudges against them
  15. No doubt he can keep going, if he so wished until he finds a court that finds in his favour. Thats what hacks me off incases like this. It should be law that the first Judgement reached must stand. If not, it makes a mockery of the Judicial system Then Marius would have won !!! And i stand by what i sed....if thats what the judgement was...then that is what should stand! I would assume that the only thing that has changed between the first court case and the second is those calling the shots. The facts of the case would be the same. Basically..as i see it...the second Judge or whatever is saying the first judge called it wrong. That for me...is quite disturbing!

  17. I havent really read thro this thread. But just wanted to air my view. And that veiw is, Im one of the peeps wanting the SPL EXPANDED....to possibly 16 teams, not shrunk to 10. Thats a joke! Fook knows where this latest idea has sprung from....as far as i knew...expnsion was the preffered option?
  18. As exciting a player as Johnny is...he drifts out of games. He can play a blinder one half and be annonymous the next. Id say.....I would view Russel Duncan as the most important player, therfore my current fave. He does an excellent and largely unrecognised job of breaking up the opponents play. Sure...his passes can go astray, but hes not in the team for his passing prowess
  19. tickets cost too much....SIMPLES!
  20. Lots of Iain Stewarts goals were pretty sublime! Im sure he would feature in a top 20 goals by himself!
  21. What a woosey.....we need people made of sterner stuff leading this country!
  22. 2-1 to Newcastle
  23. Superb result.....lets not forget, this was against a team competing in Europe! Well done all...shame the fookers scored tho. Being truthfull...i was a bit worried this one and thought we might get beat, WHICH...really should be the case, all things considered
  24. Well done Ryan....crucial save there Just desserts for the hun diving fookers!
  25. The Weakest Liink is off...Royster on. Hope he plays a blinder!
