Thanx folks. as it goes...i already have 2 ps2s in the house. its just the wee man wanted to play lego star wars for the ps2 on the ps3, rather than the lego star wars i got him for ps3, for reasons best known to him lol....bless him

My old man told me Don. Apparently busses were running....till one lost control on Bruce gardens i think it was so the rest were apparently cancelled....for a while at least. Maybe the no replacement busses was an excuse?

Is there any free programs out there that would allow me to remotley take control of another pc? My dad is old and trying to get into using a computer...but he has issues now and then...and i thought it would be good if such a facility allowed me to go online, diagnose and fix any issues he had remotley, rather than have to keep heading over to the house. So.....anyone....anyone.....bueller....anyone?

I was under the impression that the ps3 played ALL previous games from the previous versions of the console? But my youngest decides he wanted to play Lego Star wars (for the ps2) on the PS3...instead of the Lego star wars i bought him for the ps3. But it says the system will not play the discs? Am a bit peed off...as part of the reason i bought it was because i was under the impression that it would play ps1, ps2 games also? Does this sound correct?

Maybe canna complain about the Refuse collection....but i heard the busses were cancelled in Dalneigh yesterday...coz the roads had not been treated.

I have seen a few facebook protests doing the rounds regarding the lack of services we have been experiencing. Havent seen the Grantown one tho. Thing is....these people SHOULD do something to protest....other than just sign up to it. When people have the balls to stand up and be counted AND stick to their principles...things start to change. In this country....we allow ourselves to be walked over, regarding services...taxes etc etc

I wish people in this country were more like the french over things like this. They wouldnt put up with this sloppy service. We should all Hold back our council tax for the month of december for the lack of services regarding Refuse collection and the shocking state of the roads and more imprtantly, the pavements! The costs to the public rises and rises and yet the serivces are cut back/get worse

Another little factor into the mix. I recently started shopping online with Asda, and getting it delivered. ONE observation i have noted about their goods.....is that.....own brand things like Croissants, Chicken kievs etc are considerably smaller than that offered by their competitors. About a Third smaller at least!

I prefer Morrisons to Tesco for this reason alone.....you get a lot more for your cash. They got far better two for one deals!

What nonsense. People have spent money and time to get here for the Hogmanay Party last night and the football tomorrow. The pitch almost certainly can got playable and that should be the deciding factor, wind or temperature are not going to be issues. As for snow cover on roads and pavements, that should be an individuals decision as to whether they go out in such conditions or not. Northern Police need a collective kick up the arse after the last 24 hours. Like the Murphys....hes not bitter! :music03:
