Well..........they are claiming that due to system error...the order went thro twice...hence why i was hit twice for the price. Am annoyed tho..as they sed it would be refunded immediatley, but still no sign. then got an email saying when the second one arrives. i can either keep it or send it back. Am hoping they will refund me first tho coz am skint enuff as it is. If they dont..i might keep it....and punt it on ebay for a lil profit. Wished they hadnt made the error in the first place tho.

So much for the kids for a quid deal then! Take those kids who already attend the games away.....i think the deal was max two kids per adult? So....to attract new punters, and make use of the "deal"...(given most kids would need to be accompanied by an adult) it was still gonna cost a minimum of ?15 to cash in. Cant see that appealing to many folks....especially at this time of the year.

Im sure i read somewhere that it was a 5 and Half yr deal. Doesnt sound like a very promising start...judging by the majority of comments on here!

Has anyone ever bought from www.gameplay.com ? They have a game im after for my eldest, thats about ?12 cheaper than other places. Just wondering if they were safe enuff to use?

I think i willl take back my recomendation for zavvi.com....as the fookershelped themselves to a payment TWICE for the game....and i been on hold on the phone to get thro to them for ages!

I have bought my wee ones a PS3 and 7 games for xmas.....which i am keeping here...as i cant trust them to look after it at their mothers....so i might be joining the online revolution soon. Dont know anything about it all tho.....coz its been a LOOOOOOONG time since i was a regular gamer.

The reason i went to great lengths, is because Mantis has taken great pleasure, in ridiculing the validity of my claims, (regarding the article i posted)...since i first mentioned it, many months ago. And....upon further investigation...it would appear that the spend per head for Gaelic pupils is ?11 000. Based on numbers studying just two years ago. So that is near 4 times the State school figure

I would hazzard a guess for every remotely located Gaelic School.....there are 7-8 equally remote state schools.

Thats the same 7 million thats paid out every year. It's not for any investigation. Its for gaelic learning, culture, the national plan and broadcasting. Eh.....try ?22M budget for the 3000 gaelic learners in school. Works out at over ?7000 per pupil spend......more than double that of a state educated pupil! Its things like this that p1sses me off about Gaelic!

Alex....?7M announced yesterday to hold an investigation into the future for Gaelic. Then a few million on this...a few million on that. Lets not forget, there are only about 50 000 gealic speakers in Scotland....so the actual spend per head on Gaelic is thorogh the roof!
